Ivo Dimchev is singer and songwriter from Bulgaria.
He took part in the X factor UK in 2018.
He is mostly known in the field of contemporary dance and performance.
Ivo Dimchev is a choreographer and performer living in Los Angeles , known internationally for his provocative and often controversial works of performaning art. His work is an extreme and colourful mixture of performance art, dance, theatre, music, drawings, and photography.
Dimchev is an author of more than 30 performances. He has received numerous international awards for dance and theatre and has presented his work across Europe, South America, and North America. He is well knows for his collaboration with the famous Austrian sculpture artist Franz West, with the sculptures of whom Ivo has created 2 stage productions presented in prestigious European Festivals. Ivo Dimchev is knows also as visual artist and very often along his performances and concerts festivals organise his exhibitions of paintings, photography and sculptures.

I know a lot of people didn’t like you on X factor but honestly, why? It’s like as soon as something is slightly “weirder” than average, people over react and reject it. Ivo; you are an amazing artist and you have a talent. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise x

I can proudly say as a british person that X Factor is outdated...half the people in the audience only listen to Mainstream Pop and they say they are looking for originality but clearly cant see it

It was probably because all they want is people with good backstorys and pop songs. This is the kind of stuff that they do need there. Also Bulgaria itself does have (along with it's people) a sad backstory.

his style somewhat reminds me of freddy. but generally his performance is softer, feminine, while as even ivo thinks freddy’s style is too masculine and doesn’t like it. i think he does not want people to think he’s copying anyone, and be original

Ivo, somehow u made it possible to sound like a theremin in some parts of this song. Some tones appear to come straight out of the 1920's. Really impressive. Keep astounding people!

Agree totally but then rhydian Robert's had his own style and did not totally compromise and came second . Platinum x3 albums later . I think maybe that one appearance was enough . I have just bought his album off that performance and then watching you tube.

Ironically i found Ivo in a video called "worst auditions on x-factor 2018" or something like that. While there is an element of weirdness in his performance, for what i'm used to, something about his voice made me think "nah, this ain't a bad audition, you clearly see there's talent there, both in the lyrics and the vocals" and so i went on my quest to find Ivo (which was easy) and this song is simply amazing and after watching and hearing so many others i really enjoy your music and your art!!! Best of luck in your wonderful career.
