I remember discovering Ivo thanks to this audition, i find him so amazing and skilled, the mainstream talent shows are not for him 'cause he's simply over them! I started listening to his music and i'm now a big fan of him, we need more artists like him in this world, he truly is one

Exactly, I remember hearing Frank Zappa telling a story of Alice Cooper back in like 1969 had an concert in California trying to get signed and Frank Zappa happened to be there and the club was full and by the time his 3 or 4 song everyone nearly walked out and Frank Zappa signed him immediately

Yes! The booing caught me of guard, had to rewind to listen to when they started. I don't get it, he's quite unique, and compared to some contestants this year, he's even better in staying on pitch. It's also very creative. I genuinely loved it, although I don't know why exactly.

Better staying on pitch compared to some other singers I said . Don't twist my words. ;) + check his youtubechannel out. It's all an act, he earns a living by performing. His live recordings of his shows are way better. Probabaly was getting payed to come on the show even, to bring some flavor.

Thé X factor is a simple, boring show which only cares for boring people with sad stories to come and hit some high notes. They haven’t seen talent like this and the stale audience hated it because they hate that they can’t understand this. I’m sorry but this was beautiful, mesmerising and amazing. Anyone who disagrees is stale. The choreography I agree was bizarre but the whole oddity of it became a stunning contemporary and conceptual masterpiece.

I mean I agree everyone has their own opinions. But Louis definitely didn’t turn it down just because he was different for sure. Louis barely ever got to sing anything in 1d because of the reason that his voice was different, after 1d he was able to embrace his voice for what it is. I think it’s cool! I’m just saying Louis definitely didn’t turn it down for the single reason that it was different, he jus tries to have it in him to be rude considering he was in the exact same position. id agree that his lows are very good, he has a competent training, sounds like theater. however you can overdo artistic and weirdness. that was a bit to much. having a yougn boy in a schooluniform like dress passed out in your lap dont help much. and his wierd high pitched noises where anything but singing. if he straighten it out a bit, less is sometimes more in this case a lot more

Kukuh Santoso can you not? Louis is incredibly talented. Everyone has their own taste sure, but saying someone is straight up bad? Louis has a different voice. A BEAUTIFUL one in my opinion. It goes so well with so many of his songs like KMM, ( kill my mind ) Defenseless, Only the Brave, etc. saying that Louis is untalented is far from correct. This is probably the best thing this show has ever seen. Maybe people don't like him because the majority of the public is simple minded and this is the purpose of the show too, to create entertainment, not real art. But he is awesome, with an enormous talent, I've seen his shows and I'm sure that one of the reasons that he is there is to experiment and see if someone from a very commercial show can understand something at all

Me! I looked him up, because it looked like he wanted to get a message across through his act. He performed in my country (and in many others as well) as a physical 'theatre' artist with his choreography. He's into other forms of art as well. I don't think he got far in the competition, seeing how he performs all over the world the next couple of months. Although, don't know when bootcamp took place.

I'll be honest,his singing was less to be desired.I did like his lower register,though.Also,I liked the fact that he was from another country which might've played a part in Simon's decision to allow him to go through.Simon welcomes singers from other places to audition,however not many make it to the live shows.

X factor is a very mainstream show. Most of the people in the audience are fairly shallow in how they understand and see art and entertainment. They want a blonde girl or a generic boy band to sing generic pop songs in a generic fashion. A hypie with a guitar hitting average notes with an average sound and an average voice. Ivo is incredibly creative and his flow, energy, choice of chords, register and harmony are criminally underrated and extremely endearing. He's got style, vision, and something a bit different to offer the world. I like it.
