In this video I take a look at how the Kill death ratio system has changed as a result of the release of the Criminal Enterprises content update in Grand Theft Auto Online, do they get affected in Freemode anymore? What about game modes other than deathmatch?

The lowest I ever found someone KD grinding was when played contact missions during one of their double money weeks. Turns out, if you flattened your allies in contact missions, they counted as kills that could boost your KD (or drop others).

Look in more further...go to Stats and its the "Death's by players" & "Total Players killed". K/D Ratio is just to at an average, look at the total amount of kills and deaths, that will show it better!!!

It would probably be higher, think how many NPC's you can kill before they kill you especially running businesses or doing missions. For example I have roughly 40,000 total kills but only 12,000 player kills. I also have no idea how many total deaths but I have 4,000 deaths by player. The really funny thing is most of my player kills actually happened in deathmatches and other adversary modes back on old gen

99% of my PVP action was in death matches, GTA races, Last Man/Team Standings, Arena War, Captures and Adversary modes. I have been playing since release and usually went for activity that would unlock an award or accolade. It wouldn't be the worst thing to get my K/D reset but I wouldn't be happy about any part of my legit progress being taken.

Yesterday night i was playing in freemode doing CEO stuff with strangers but they didn't actually help, eventually only one was left in my organization but he was getting killed by another CEO and his crew at another location so after i was done i took my hydra and quickly flew there to help, i got shot down fairly quick with an Oppressor MKII and then a gunfight begin, it was actually fun and i got plenty of kills eventually my teammate left and it was midnight so I decided to leave too so i sent him a message "gg, i had fun" but i received no reply and they just tried to kill me more and more so we kept the sniper fight going 2v1 and i handled them well imo but eventually this dude brought a khanjali to a gunfight, which was hilarious.

Im a grinder but i can enjoy pvp, in fact having so many things i worked for grants me the ability not only to defend myself but to also fight back... I managed to keep my KD positive and im proud of it, i would be sad to see it go because i worked hard for it just like how i worked hard to grind my money but that does fade away when i remenber what kind of KD some griefers have which were all achieved through the most disgusting of methods. I hoped they would make a universal KD Reset and make it so it only counts for the Players Versus Players combat modes, the lack of a reset is whats terrible but i also dont get the need some people have to "remove kd" as if they feel little because somebody else has a higher one, this game is crazy and wild yet thats what deserves to be removed? I dont think any of this is going to stop the griefing or the tryhards any time soon...

Yep it’s amazing! I’m a long term kd warrior with a 7.04 kd and I don’t even farm in free mode. I farm in a 5 min deathmatch using another character on a second ps4. I farm myself over 40 kills every 5 min and get 5000rp each time. I no longer have to go passive mode in lobbies anymore. I can finally fight anyone without stress! 😂

Glad this now a thing but don’t forget these players that did grind their K/D to get it as high as they got it now, in PvP they’ll still blow themselves up regardless because they still rather not allow themselves to be killed by another player in combat. Hopefully in the Christmas update Rockstar does put a timer of maybe every 15-20 minutes on how long players can blow themselves up either with an RPG or with sticky bombs and that’ll keep PvP a fair fight even if they spam RPG’s or explosive rounds at you. Lastly another change for PvP is make ghost organization have a cooldown timer of maybe every 30-35 minutes and same thing if they called Lester.

even if blowing yourself up affected kd theyd still do it because they care about score (even if its a score they faked by killing themselves). there should just be a delay on the death, so a sticky bomb or rpg ragdolls you on the ground with zero heath for 5 seconds before you die. then it will be an incentive to actually fight to the death for those not brave enough to. otherwise you will get killed as you are lying on the ground if you try the cowards tactic

I do kind of wish KD would still increase during things like VIP work since chucking C4 at some would be MK2 griefers is how got my KD back to positive. KD really should still count for VIP work, client jobs, king of the castle, sniper kills/headshots challenge but I am kinda glad this means stand your ground wont pop up so much anymore and I know its possible to spawn trap people on USS Luxington so probably good no KD change there.

K/D ratio means absolutely nothing in a game where there are fighter jets armed with explosive MGs that have infinite ammo, hoverbikes, lock-on missiles, and satellite death cannons.

I am for ever stuck on a 1.81 kd. I love it. Im not even a fighter but if someone destroyed my cargo i kill them at least 10 times. 8 have 4500 kills and got killed 2000 something times. Try hards allways wanna fight me but they loose because i fight dirty and got skill. GRINDER RULES

You've not missed out mate they should've called it the BB rifle or something it takes 4 shots to kill and is bolt action so the musket, heavy sniper (both variants), and marksman rifle (also both variants) are all more effective weapons by a large margin. Maybe they'll add a mk2 version or buff it but for not it's not worth the 400k even though it's not a lot of money these days
