Interesting song. Obviously ska, obviously punk, but it felt kinda pop-punk at some parts (which a lot of ska does), slightly more hardcore punk at others, and 2:04-2:22 it even had an emo/screamo vibe, with the guitar part there. I listened to a lot of screamo from middle school to sophomore year, and that guitar part reminds me of something A Skylit Drive would play.

To the skacore question, from the song/bands you’ve heard thus far, these would qualify Howards Alias, Capdown, and Bosstones(old. Hell Of A Hat). Suicide Machines too. But with them, even though the hardcore’s there, the regular straight up punk, is more prevalent(to confuse you even more).
