Good video. Personally, I have 2 laser line pointers. This not only allows you to visualise both cover lines, but allows your opponent to use one more easily. I cannot imagine playing the game without them. I bought them for x-wing in 2015, and are still on their first set of batteries. I love the score tracker. Again, I bought 2 so that my opponent can use one if they wish. I used POSCA paint pens to colour mine. Previously I have also used Tipex on acrylic tokens to great effect. For scoring, I put the VP Total shield below the dials (both of mine are transparent). Makes it much easier to use. I have added a home made accessory to KT that I would not be without. I printed some 1" and 2" circles (with a light checkerboard background) onto clear film to use as objective markers. They are thin enough that models can sit on them and terrain can overlap them. I have never really understood the stock 40mm token size. Its meaningless, and ambiguous. Now I know that if my guy touches the circle, they are within triangle or circle of the objective, 100%.

That laser is awesome! Ordered one already. Luckily nothing has turned confrontational but there has been some instances where LoS is questionable and this can remove all doubt for both players. Excellent!

This is such a great and helpful video. A must watch for kill team players in my opinion, Just like GHD LoS video. Great work. I would not have thought of buying multiple acrylic measuring tools to help pre measure, but it makes a lot of sense.

I have a wall laser for leveling pictures that I use in conjunction with the army painter one. Advantage is I can sit it on the table and the line it creates is stable. Good for finicky cover line drawing needs. It’s also good for marking Drop zone edge for deployment

I bought one of those Army Painter lasers a few weeks ago, it killed its batteries in a day just sitting on the shelf. Tried a brand new set, again drained them in a day, so something was closing the circuit inside the case. Bought a saw-guide laser from Harbor Freight that does the exact same thing, only mounted on a small magnetic base, and that feels a lot more robust and doesn't kill the batteries while sitting idle.

Ah that's a shame to hear. How much was the Harbor Freight one? Me and my friend have had ours' for nearly 3 months now with no issue if that's any help

The laser is really useful for sure, I just wish there was a higher quality product I could get. It is a bit unstable.

I think you could get some that are used for hardware stuff like drilling etc but they cost quite a bit more sadly

Be aware, those laser lines are not perfectly accurate. We used them a fair bit in X-Wing, and you can get some serious variance between lasers. We ended up going back to using range rulers for anything really close.
