David was awkward and dorky but *SOOOOOO* sweet and so good to Phoebe. He didn't dump her he HAD to leave for this research thing. They were both broken hearted when he left. Also, its Hank Anzaria! He voices TONS of The Simpsons characters, Agador in The Bird Cage, Dodgeball, and Bartok in Anastasia! Plus LOADS more. He's brilliant!

5:53 I accidentally spoiled my teacher about Monica and Chandler's relationship and I felt really bad after pulling the surprise off. In my defense, he said that he had seen friends, so I assumed that he had seen the entire series, he was telling us that there is no story in the show that follows a timeline, so I replied "What about Monica and Chandler?" The moment I saw his face I knew he had no idea so I asked "which episode are you in?" and he replied "mid season 4, now it makes sense what my girlfriend was telling me about a relationship I wasn't going to see coming" HE WAS SO CLOSE, I ruined it. He didn't talk to me during the whole class but then another teacher told him it wasn't my fault he had never seen friends lmao

You're entitled to your view, but I honestly loved Phoebe and David together. I thought his geeky awkwardness played really well off her hippy wackiness and I think Lisa Kudrow & Hank Azaria had great chemistry. I know that David is not everyone's cup of tea, but I found it quite romantic how they would meet again after so many years and reignite their spark.

David sucks. People only like him because it’s Hank Azaria. The character is less developed than Carl or teacher guy and firefighter guy and yes I realize it’s ironic I’m saying they were more developed but we know things about them. Other than generic he’s smart and nice. Air piano all the way!!!
