He is obsessed with podcasts, so he had followed Redban and the rest of the Death Squad for a while. He showed up to the Comedy Store right before the second episode and told Tony and Redban that he was a huge fan. Tony invited him to join the show as their security. He stays on the show until Episode 34, but they end up kicking him off the show because he was extremely weird when Tony invited him on an episode of Getting Doug with High. Tony and Redban had no idea who the guy was when he showed up. They slowly realized that he has a pretty severe mental illness.

It is WILD to me how hard Tony is on Eric Carter and gives the other trash comics a pass. The show is a total 180 nowadays. Tony would be screaming with praise if this guy came and did this same set today.
