It works quickly. Doesn’t take much to do the job.

I read somewhere that you can mix 3 parts water with 1 part vinegar to kill weeds and grass.

It's one option. I believe we discuss that here: golfcourselawn.store/blogs/diy-lawn-care/how-to-kill-weeds-naturally

Can you speak to how it would effect shrubs in the mulch beds?
@RonHenry Жыл бұрын
As long as you don’t spray the shrubs you’re ok. It’s a contact herbicide so it will injure what it’s sprayed on.

Ron, I've got a new constructed home with new sod (that's not growing) on top of clay rocky soil that's just poor quality with gaps and tons of nutsedge and crabgrass. Any pointers would be so appreciated! Love the vids and guidance!

Depends on the kind of grass you have Brian. Check out this blog post for products and techniques on controlling weeds in your lawn: golfcourselawn.store/blogs/diy-lawn-care/best-products-for-killing-weeds-without-killing-grass

My lawn would be doing great (fall now) but I've been infested with army worms for the past two years. I've tried stuff from the box stores but none works. What do you recommend for total army worm eradication?
@RonHenry Жыл бұрын
This will take care of the armyworms. Easy to use and very effective product: golfcourselawn.store/products/acelepryn-g-insecticide-grub-and-armyworm-control or golfcourselawn.store/products/acelepryn-sc-insecticide-liquid-grub-and-army-worm-control

My concern is longevity of its successfulness. Every vinegar based acts more like a desiccate or diquat. Inevitable they come back as it is not a systemic herbicide. Also with vinegar since it's an acid I fear it will kill any and all beneficial microbes or fungi in the soil.

It’s been very well-received.

Would this work on Bermuda grass growing into mulch beds?
@RonHenry Жыл бұрын
Yes. You’ll need to use the 19 oz per gallon rate for Bermuda.
@RonHenry Жыл бұрын
A better way to control Bermuda for longer in flower beds is to use glyphosate and fusillade. That method is non-organic though. I show the process in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2K9fKBroLqCh5Y

Not to interrupt the product discussion but, did the wand you have on your backpack sprayer come with it, or did you get it someplace else? The plastic wand on my Chapman is beginning to have several leaks and if I could buy one like yours, metal, it would be great.
