He will kill 2 bosses for ya. If he loses one hand he can only kill 1. You get the rewards straight to your inventory. If you do nothing. He dives into lava, and you miss the titan fights.

You can kill him with 2 maelstrom

Multiple maelstroms will kill it without costing your arrow, not instant kill, but mines dead rn on that 1st beach
