The behaviour of the police at that vigil for Sara was a complete embarrassment should have charged with assault on members of the public,and then to have the head of the metropolitan police defending them says enough about that organisation.

I am a female, u.s., on disability after TWO crimes, a "Me, Two" before the whole movement. Ask me what happens to us once we're on disability???!!! Ask me how the u.s. police handled this? Ask me, after now researching the "how often does this happen", and I am LIVID. If we don't make a LOT of noise now, things will never change. They're letting them out, the police et al in justice system too often involved, the wrong type of "men", and more. I'm SICK of it.........enough is enough. The murders and rapes, assaults and abuse of women and children are OFF THE CHARTS!!!

No one asks because no one cares. You think you're special, or deserve special treatment because you are a victim AND female. Men are far far more likely to be a victim of crime. ......but you don't hear us belly aching about it........wide your neck in, because no one cares.

If you look up the statistics. Men are more often the victims of murder and severe violence. I bet you i have taken much more physical damage from others then you in my life time. I Don't know this statistic. But I'am preatty sure more men Are killed every third day then a women.

She is either Ms Everard, or Sarah, not just Everard. When I was growing up a person was only referred to by surname if they were a criminal. You talk about respecting women, well do so, and refer to Sarah properly
@orionxtc111911 ай бұрын
well male victims are also called by surname... equality eh?
@karendooks624411 ай бұрын
@orionxtc1119 Oh, for goodness sake, I said Ms cos the film is about a female victim. I think that male victims are just as entitled to be given respect by addressing them as Mr. My point, which you have deliberately chosen to miss, is that when I was a child a PERSON was stripped of any title, and just their surname used if they were convicted.

Sarah Everard!!! I was so shocked, my auntie lives just 1,5 miles away. I used to walk there. I live in Scotland SINCE 2012, I am a single dad of my amazing son. I am from Latvia, but I do stay in UK SINCE 2004 and we needed to make a passport for my son, Kenzie. I know Clapham Common, I know the bandstand where vigil took place. I went Sarah's route, it was a first day when bars opened. I got nearly attacked 2 times in that 3 mile walk. London became a dangerouse place to live and it is so sad. the biggest. my love goes to Sarah's parents. I really hope it will never happen to anyone and I am so sorry for them....

I have a lot of family in law enforcement & homicide. To compare the first & 2nd case is a terrible comparison. You're missing a major key element in the first case. You say in both cases, "violence against women" & how women "aren't being protected". That's the key element to the first case & WHY it received way more media attention, BECAUSE she was kidnapped & murdered BY THE VERY PERSON WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER.... A POLICE OFFICER. All murder is bad, but it creates a huge shock factor & outrage if it is done by a cop.... to a woman, by a cop, not cause she's white. SMH

The only solution is tougher sentencing ,you can’t control other peoples mind but you can discourage them from committing crimes if there are tougher laws . The commentary is a bit overly woke . Women shouldn’t have to change their behaviour to feel safe ,in certain instances they should ,However we can’t control how other people think and their actions ,add to that drug and alcohol use ,porn addiction and lack of empathy ,mysoginy and you have a dangerous concoction.
