Big issue now is the slurry tankers. The PSNI since the ban opened, have been pulling tanker drivers over on a daily rate because their tankers are over 3000g which is the maximum legal size. I know one contractor who has cancelled several jobs that require tankers. They are being done for being overweight and no insurance as the insurance companies won’t cover you on the road if the tanker is over 3000g. Pure disaster. Going to be a major sale of tankers 3500g and bigger soon and orders placed for 3000g and less sized tankers.

@@andrewbell1892 No. 3000g is the limit as you have to add the tractor weight into it. When the Tier grant was out, the maximum size of tanker you could get a grant on was 3000g because that was the legal limit.

@@thomassmyth1725 98% or more of oversized tankers in NI are on roads and how many drivers are going to 3/4 fill their tankers. It’s the insurance companies who are pushing the police to act.

Good question 😂 I think it’s an addition.. we have been adding a tractor every year now for the past while. The two we are trading in are going to be replaced by the 210s. Come silage we need them all… and some days more!!
