Synopsis:

Yuelou is destined to be lonely (he literally lost everyone he love and trust in the end, though he won the battle), Yuzhi is Yuelou soulmate and salvation. What a fate. Splendid drama

This is a completely different genre than word of honour and the untamed. Its easier to compare those two to each other than this drama to them. I thinl it's refreshing to see something else and I haven't seen a drama set in this time period before. At times the pacing is a bit weird though.

Okay so... 1. Jiang accidentally saw Chen’s sister got kidnapped but didn’t try to save her 2. Jiang captured Chen so he didn’t go home fast enough to track her sister or save her sister 3. Coincidentally a killer tried to kill Jiang by shooting the car where Chen’s sister is in Did the series try to make Chen hates Jiang?? Like seriously 😒 if Chen was human enough, he will definitely blame all of this on Jiang. Fortunately in this series, Chen have the healthiest mental ever. I have a theory about this, I don't think that Keying tldied in the car, Yueluo didn't really know her that well and kept asking her to take off her hat, also her face was already bruised. Chen saw the girl after she was severely burned and size, clothing, hairstyle and SHOCK maybe misidentified her. I'm hoping for a plot twist, where he is able to find his sister. Maybe I'm just wishing for some happiness for Chen. But if you think about carefully it might be true.

Omg, I see why this is one of the top BL series in china. This show is extremely outstanding in ever piece of its acheivement. The artistry that Mao Zijun and Yi Bochen bring to this project script is brilliantly magnificent. Mao can truly carry this show on his back , with his powerful performance...lol. My heart was so full of emotions i couldnt stop watching it over on some esp. This series will truly have you emotionly happy, sad, love and hurt at the same time forgiving. Along with the two top MLs, there were other great casts who made this series the pheonmonal it was. Such as Chen yu Cheng as the firm evil minded but friend to everyone opium dealer businessman and Patrick Quan, who was a quiet spirit, charming male queisha singer who was stunning in his role. This show set a beautiful tone of Beauty and the beast of two friends been both males one is ferious and angry and the other been mild manner and calm that has a brotherly, heart and mental love that bonds them one another.

Even without eng subtitles, one can easily see it's unreal for the Dr's anger after seeing the car explosion causing the death of his little sister (which we know wasn't her). One minute is angry yelling at him, and lest then 5 minutes, Dr is sitting down at the front and the other on top of the bench with a bicycle next to him, cheat chatting as if nothing happened. I am not accepting that. You don't switch off that kind heart wrenching deep emotions just like that. C'mon people!

In fact later in their conversation, when the doctor has been calm down he said that he actually didnt blame the police for the incident. So I suggest you watch it again with eng sub.

If u think people can't go from one extreme emotion to another, u have never been in that situation. there are many reasons where a person HAS to force his emotions down and act as if nothing is wrong and go about their lives.
