This symbiotic relationship actually works. In my village we have learned to direct these ants to parts of the house that is infested with pests and rodents etc. They usually migrate like 3/4 times annually. This happens during the night, we read their seasons and prepare for them. By morning time the entire hut/house is cleared out with evidence of useful destruction left behind and the ants moved on without a fuss.
