@@vanizorc I don't think he is kidding. I've seen videos online about them killing livestock animals as well. They literally will kill things like cattle, lamb, and other farm animals with ease. They gang up so fast on the animal and the animals don't have any means of brushing them off like humans can. So the ants just have at the animals unless the animal can run away freely or get into a body of water to get them off.

This symbiotic relationship actually works. In my village we have learned to direct these ants to parts of the house that is infested with pests and rodents etc. They usually migrate like 3/4 times annually. This happens during the night, we read their seasons and prepare for them. By morning time the entire hut/house is cleared out with evidence of useful destruction left behind and the ants moved on without a fuss.

It's not like they do more than just bite. You want to see ants that you can't do this with? Bull-ants (jumping jacks is another name for them) don't bite-they sting. Scorpion: "You let one ant stand up to us, then they all night stand up. Those ants outnumber us 100 to 1, and if they ever figure that out, there goes our way of life! It's not about food, it's about keeping those ants in line!"

It's just called "Antz" actually. No "life" in it.. You're confusing it with A Bugs Life.

Seeing them so casually walk around the ants surprised me, but then I realize i do something similar when the leaf cutters attack the plant outside my house. Only these people have ants that are more beneficial to them personally.

Kinda crazy when you realize a lot of these shots usually have to be sped up due to the amount of time it takes the bugs to work, but these ants are so many and voracious they can show them work in real time
