I just bought Eau Sauvage edt. I love it. Givenchy Pi is one of the best and most beautiful VANILLAs I've ever smelled. I can't say whether it was Givenchy Pi or Calvin Klein Obsession that made me dipped my toes into fragrances in the late 90's! Amazing fragrances. I have Givenchy Pi (for the nostalgia and the smell) but I can't find a vintage bottle of Obsession. Thank you for the video. It was nostalgic for me.

Great list, Peter. Chanel Antaeus holds a very special place in my collection. I had an original 1981 splash bottle that I've lost track of, but have an early 2000's bottle as a backup. As someone said below, Antaeus has lost some of its oomph over time, but it's still collection-worthy. I was hoping to see my all-time favorite vintage in your list - Rochas Macassar. Not so easy to find, but it seems like it would fit well as part of your list.

My man .. coffee and fragrance, we are kindred spirits my friend 😊 Antaeus is still beautiful, love pour Monsieur too but it leaves way to early. Zino is so cheap, Tom Ford is a little fresher. Pi is definitely picking up pace again, see a lot of talk about it in groups, so nice and relaxing.

As a lover/admirer of ALL things “classic,” LOVED this video. Another keeper, “professor!” 😉👍🏼👏🏼 My only CONCERN would be if the YOUNGER generation would consider anyone wearing these scents to be “old fashioned/outdated,” since none of these match the currently popular DNA for men’s fragrances exemplified by such SWEET scents like Invictus, One Million, Rasasi Hawas, etc.? 🤔

Yes ,this is a current problem. Many fragrances are much too sweet ,no worries, however, as we get older, we tend to move away from this younger phenomenon, 😆 and the classics start to shine ✨️ Thank you so much for watching 🙌

I have to disagree on the Pour Monsier not smelling dating. As much as I like that fragrance, just like Bois du Portugal and New York Intense, it's an old man scent with PM being something in the 60+ age range. Eau Sauvage and Colonia though are not dated.

Hi Peter, I really like your channel and content as you know, but I have a strong aversion to the prominent "Must have" in the title. There is no such thing like a Must have in fragrances. Especially beginners might really think you need to have all those frags to be a serious collector.... no you don't. This is already the 3rd "Must have" video, and I just had to say something about it, cause IMO it's wrong
