Original promo video for Killer Dwarfs' "Heavy Mental Breakdown" without any editing or effects done by music television stations. Rip is one generation from the master! This was the one and only single from the Dwarfs' 1983 self-titled debut. NOTE: Updated 5/1 with audio equalization. Go Dunk!

Who could forget this? I was 5 yrs old when my brother put me onto this. was also the first time I ever took pride in Canada. Shout out to any metal heads sniffing glue.

I used to attend open jams in Toronto at 'The Upper Lip' on Yonge Street in '82 when one Sunday Russell Graham took stage. With a powerhouse set of pipes I was standing beside the board noticing his level was constantly being attenuated leveling out at two... In fact he probably didn't need a mic, Ha Ha. Not a large person but huge chops. It was truly impressive.

First time I heard this song was on a mix tape I bought called "metal for breakfast" back in 84 (or was it 85). The song still kicks ass.

I always loved the killer dwafs since "keep the spirit alive" debut on MTV. I faithfully bought every album from Stand Tall ..and all future albums after. I never knew about THIS album or video, so this was a surprise !

I saw this band advertised in a metal magazine when I was a kid 25 years ago. But that was the first and only time until now I stumbled upon them again on Discogs. I'm happy to say I'm finally checking them out. They remind me of Quiet Riot.

I remember watching this on Toronto Rocks with John Major after school and laughing my ass of. Great tune, fun video, what rock/metal were all about back in the early 80's (before the glam scene killed it)

I see all these comments on how people think this band is so great. But why? What stands out? To me, they seem like they're desperately trying to copy all those L.A. bands from the 80,s. But these guys are from Canada. And why the hell they got to tour with The Great IRON MAIDEN in 1988 is beyond me. They ain't nothing alike. Perhaps that's the reason? But whatever. Just too much posing for me. Like they're begging for attention! I'm not a musician, but if I was, this is not the route I would take. All the power to them tho. But I'm telling you, they won't ever break Big-time with this gimmick! And if they do, it won't last. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they suck. Because they don't. But they're just average. Nothing special about any of them. The guitarist is average and the drummer, well he's a drummer. Just like thousands of others. Litteraly 1000,s! All you posers can have em'! I'm out! See ya!

freddy ferrillo why would you go on a video of a song you don’t like from a band you don’t like, then complain about it? It’s like if you stuck your hand into a piranha-infested pool and complained that a piranha bit you.

Easy, their stage presence with Russ was second to none. Clearly, you were not there, and missed the point entirely. I mean, Maiden is okay, but those guys were hungry at the time, it made all the difference in the world.
