If you break down the basic structure of this, it's basically *exactly* how most mascot horror first chapters go. And yet... it just does it all better. Rambley's dialogue and the overall basically self-aware nature of the game gives it so much charm that most "Chapter 1" games lack, Poppy's included. Only thing I think could really use some work is the jumpscare animation.

This was fantastic! The only thing I'd change is giving the player a bit more time to make mistakes during the big chase with Mollie. Not only does it make mistakes less frustrating, but it also adds tension and fear of trying to escape when making a Mistake and seeing it get closer but without it immediately killing you upon one single mistake.

This is genuinely one of the best horror games I’ve seen, not specifically in the horror aspect, but in how there’s passion oozing from every corner. This game's vibe is great. I really hope Rambley doesn't turn out to be evil, and just genuinely wants to repair the park. Would be a nice subversion of expectations. The idea of even the park's AI being powerless to actually fix it, with his friends having gone mad... It adds a hint of sorrow to the horror, which plays nicely with the comedic quips of Rambley. I look forward to the full release.

Ah yes, Indigo Park. I've been waiting this one for a while! Apparently being one of those Mascot Horror games that try to bring in light to the genre like Poppy Playtime & Finding Frankie to fight back against the horrible low-quality and mass-produced MH Games that covered it in sh*t for the past year or so just like that one franchise that starts with a G. Anyways, have a fun watch everyone! I'll be playing this game myself before watching Ryan's video to see if the wait for Indigo Park was worth it. Edit: The game was pretty good! I'd say a 15/20. Bad thing being that the horror aspect of this game will need to get a big overhaul as 90% of the playthrough is basically the enemy doing a little peek-a-boo with a spooky sound and then leaves, now sure it was scary the first time, but it happens so much that at some point it felt forced and only managed to make me exhale out of my nose. Apart from that, Rambley's 2D Animation and Voice Acting was absolutely stunning! As well as the other stuff but Rambley really was the highlight here. I'm 100% gonna follow what's gonna be happening for the future of this franchise.

quick note about the lloyd jumpscare, it's a bit hard to hear but after he grabs you a high pitched noise comes from your cuff and scares him away a bit like a dog whistle that's why your character looks and the cuff in the scene. it happens real quick and the noise is a bit hard to hear but that's what I think is happening at least.

Gotta say, I like the little Rambly character. Great writing, animation and voice work. It's amazing how far one character can go in selling you on something. Not only do I want to see more of this, but I think this could have enough staying power for a few entries - like the full mascot horror experience here, and then another game that shows what the IP was supposed to be like "before everything went wrong," and other entries surrounding products like toys and video games with secrets. I hope the devs get the chance they need to expand on this as far as they want to go. It's honestly more impressive than a lot of other games that have been successful, IMO.

Nah, Rambley is literally just a raccoon version of Wheatley from Portal 2 lol; annoyingly adorable won't-shut-up personality, is the player's sidekick, controls all of the mechanical stuff that the player can't get through, etc, etc. It also seems that Rambley's being hinted to probably betray the player at some point too, so that's another similar trait.

I really like the subtle details with how the environment is made. The overabundance of grass, the trash bags, the clutter of monitors and wires and overall messiness. It hammers home the idea that this placehas been abandoned for a while. It's the sorta tension through environment that I see in games like The Heilwald Loophole or SOMA
