Couple of thoughts... first Scaler 2 is 🔥🔥 second the best way to learn something is to just play with it. I find a lot of videos that try and show you how to make trap beats are all redundant. Press there, load this and use this generator. It’s almost there is no real skill being displayed. If you want to not do any of the work just use loops to do your drum. A lot of the times these pre generated loops and sounds are copy written and it all sounds the same. Find the right snare kick clap and HH used in trap and practice your patterns.

Definitely a great way to use the loops that are generated by scalar. You can export the midi file and then break it down as per your liking what I like doing is taking the root note and assigning it to a baseline and messing with it and taking the top line and making it layered with other types of sound and textures

I actually did not I use a lower resolution so it looks bigger. If you want to increase the overall size you can do that under your mac accessibility options

Its super simple to install - all you have to do is download it and you will see it under AU instruments when you pull up the menu in midi track!

It can give you a pretty good estimate of it. There is always google to find the key and tempo!

The title promises killer melodies, but I watched the whole thing and have yet to hear any melody at all. An endlessly repeating arpeggio, nice as it may be, is not a melody, and certainly not a killer one. Scaler seems to be a useful tool for chord playback, and it looks like it might be helpful in creating beats. But don't promise things it cannot deliver.
