His answer is exactly why i disagree with the parents being punished for a kids actions, sometimes a kid is just an asshole no matter what. Im not a religious man but for those of you that are it tells you that "5 generations of your fathers sins will follow you". That explains it exactly some people are born bad.

That reasoning isn't necessarily even supernatural. Bad parents tend to raise bad children and 5000 years ago, people noticed this but didn't have the scientific reasoning to explain it that way so they wrapped it in religious language.
