Does dinner means the same than supper?
@bbclearningenglish
@bbclearningenglish Жыл бұрын
This is a very large debate in the UK! Dinner can mean 'the large, main meal of the day', or 'an evening meal'. Supper means 'an evening meal', often a light one. Confusingly, these expressions can mean different things in different parts of the UK. Basically, they have very similar meanings. Don't worry about it :) I'd suggest using 'dinner' if you aren't sure...
