flagellum actually increase speed based on how close to the center of the cell they are. Basically if you put a flagellum aligned with the arrow on the front of the cell, it will be 100% efficient

viper you should play a game called cell lab, it's a game only for android i believe but it's great and i'd say it is arguably the best mobile game in the game you do stuff with cells but it's far from realistic. the game is still great though

At the time this video was made this build wouldn't be very viable but now in the newest version with the rework of the eating mechanic (I don't remenber the name right now) it's what more viable has you can engolfe enemies and eat them that way but you need to be larger with with this build wouldn't be a problem and alow you to capture more enemy cells
