As the last of the two magnum class weapons in Resident Evil 4, this 1911 has garnered an audience from its retro futuristic appearance and its nature as a standing reference to the Terminator and one of Capcom’s own IPs. While the gun may get outclassed by its antiquated competitor in sheer firepower, the Killer7 stands its ground through its fast reload speed and iconic style as a customized Model 1911.

Buy a government issue 1911 Rock island’s are cheap but great. Get the same grips. And try and find a similar laster setup and have a gunsmith drill and tap it. And there you’ll have an exact copy and it’ll even be functional.

much as I love the look of the Killer 7. its quickly outpaced once you realize the Broken Butterfly out damages it with its Exclusive upgrade. if the Killer 7 DID get an exclusive, I think they would make it something similar to the Semi-Auto Rifle, giving it a fire rate on par with the other pistols. still wouldnt beat the Broken Butterfly in raw damage, but would be able to compete DPS wise.

killer7 gun video yay. I love SUDA's work. Here's a few fun facts, all of the guns in killer7 have unique names inspired by songs. Dan's is Handsome Devil, KAEDE's is Connection, Con's is Disarm, ect. Also, there are a few more references to killer7 in RE4. The regenerator enemies are essentially Heaven's Smiles, as for both you have to scan them for weak points to kill them. As well, the pose Leon uses in the inventory menu when having the Handcannon equipped is the same pose that Dan Smith makes when standing still.

I have an airsoft replica Killer 7 mount (attached to 1911 grips) mounted on a real life AMT Hardballer. One aspect of the laser and mount that you don't really feel from the game is how awkward it makes manipulating the slide. The mount covers most of the slide serrations on the back of the pistol and the bulky laser on top makes it difficult to grasp the front of the slide as well. This makes chambering a round or clearing a malfunction require more dexterity and time to perform.

The large size of older laser sights is because they're gas based, specifically Helium Neon. The tube of cooled helium neon gas takes up more space obviously, which is why they were eventually replaced with solid state lasers which allowed them to become much smaller.

I remember reading before that the Killer 7 and Broken Butterfly are both chambered in 45 win mag because it is a magnum auto round in .45. However, I do not think that is true as the box has ACP on it.

I'm not really sure if I'd trust the ammo boxes too much. The TMP is specified as using custom 9mm rounds (which is incorrect in reality, but that's not really my point), but its boxes simply say 9mm Parabellum, with no indication that they're particularly special in any way, and the normal handgun ammo boxes don't really offer any evidence for us to assume that they aren't chambered in 9mm Parabellum as well. The shotgun ammo boxes also refer to the shells as slugs, which uh, when you shoot them you are clearly firing buckshot so that's wrong too.
