My vid I made was to show it off and my truck it rolled over and the cage broke in the very same spot on a granite 4 s Lame of Tbone to sell them for so much and or not beef up where the screws go through. Like COMON Tbone thicken up the screw points.

the xmaxx is literally one of the kings of rc trucks or maybe that belongs to the raminator... either way teh xmaxx is kind of the jack of all trades of large scale rc. Although im still waiting to see if redcat will give 1/5 another go

Yes I'm using the 46T that comes with the X-Maxx but have a HR steel 46T backup if it breaks

Sorry I could not justify this truck when compared to your other trucks in test videos , anytime this has a half decent prang or bad landing and they break , the other lads Xmax broke even easier , I don't mean to be disrespectful to Xmax owners but this has not been abused at all and STILL it breaks , it's a nice basher but I'm sorry to say it's typical Traxxas , buy all the upgrades and it's great ?? But that IMO is not good enough after spending close to $1000 on a product that they know is going to be bashed , if we keep championing poor value for money nothing will change. Peace out 😉👍

@@killeroffroadhobbyz Your a smashing respectful lad Gary and you have always given honest tests and this may well be a better car than your last and we can SEE CLEARLY you have been careful in your landings as best you can but where with others you can actively be tough on them, and still they take it, the Xmax even when trying to be careful and land correctly , if you make a minor mistake in your landings and it's broke, I don't know what they've done to make it better but they really need to change their plastics , sort their electrics and maybe even beef up major parts . I've had cars like this before, it was a hobbyking Trooper pro , I really enjoyed it but anything serious and it would break , plastics were quite poor, I know the Xmax will be FARRR superior to the Trooper but it probably should be at $750 dearer lol Good luck Gaz , I'll look forward to your next project pal 😉👊👊👍
