I received a letter for my sister, Aelia, she's concerned for my safely and I don't blame her, but I fought countless battles and lived to tell the tale. My battanian friend tells me I should write back time to time, and perhaps during the time I'm not doing a job, but for now we are stuck dealing with Bandits in Battania. I did hear about a "Dwarf" who is at the very least bold, but skilled traveling with Chulainn, as that why he would recruit such a person I don't know. Battanians sure are strange people, they are a honest people, only caring about battle, but at the same time they're very reckless which might explain why they trend to lose more men in battle than say the Empire who's strength is in tactics. - Tullius Fautus

Something I like about this series is that Cú always talks about Boudicca in the intro and outro. From the beginning, she was his first companion and friend. The way he talks about her shows something deeper than kinship, all from the very start.

I don't know of you'll go back to Batannians in the future (or this game in general) but i read something about them, and you most probably did too, and since in 200 years later (Mount and blade 2 warband) Battanians cease to exist as a faction. And i was thinking that a Battanian original character could be a man who saw the future where Battanians are reduced to only forest bandits and vermin, and he'd be like "Oh hell to the fucking no, i'm changing the future." And he'd be out to make Batannians great again. I dunno why i'm putting it here, do what thou will with this idea. Also great video as always Surreal!

If you wants to have many battanian naoble archers you should make exortion by deserters on battanian lands. You can take some of those archers as prisoners and recruit them into your party

You've played as a mercenary, you've played as a vassal, you've started your own kingdom by purchasing lands...I think this time you should try to start your own kingdom in the most violent way possible -target an area and just raid/conquer the crap out of it. Or choose a city or castle to conquer and choose a seperate area to raid and pillage, that way the area in which you'd expand into won't hate you....regardless ppl are gunna hate you but oh well, that's the thug life.
