I didn’t like Hélène in her first appearance with Dasha but seeing her encounters with Villanelle is really interesting. At first she seemed predictable but when she talks to V, I kinda never know how she’s gonna react or what she’ll say. I think she has a genuine fixation on V and that’s why she has this maternal, yet sensual energy with her. V is the type to believe anyone who says (or shows in a clear way) that they love her bc she doesn’t know what love is actually supposed to be. But at the end of the day, we know V is a highly intelligent manipulator so I’m excited to see how she will handle Hélène in the end. And how she’ll incorporate that tiny chair lmao

I find that hard to believe because Villanelle keeps getting duped. And she's vulnerable right now. Helene's a walking contradiction in terms who talks a good game about chaos but loves power above all else. As demonstrated by how she asserts it over those beneath her.

"You are a beautiful monster", i love that line, Hélène knew Villanelle was an amazing assassin and she understands that perfectly, like a thought Villanelle couldn't be anything more than that

Helene is pretty scary. I think Dasha, Helene, and Gunn make Villanelle look like a girl scout. And of all people, its Carolyn Martens who is the biggest monster. All of them tried to knock off V, but only she...

Carolyn Martens' life is about manipulating people, even her own children. She is one of those who always understands everything. She went ahead with only one goal to satisfy her ambitions. Yes, the monster is not Villanelle, but she.

Jodie's acting is exceptional here one again. This is one of the few moments where Vallanelle actually does have something she's feeling emotional about and doesn't want to divulge it, instead of pretending to feel something more "human" and only manipulating other people with that. You can also just sense how condescending it is to the character Villanelle to be called "monster." I think in the end she takes some power back in the situation with her comments but in the end breaks down alone in the big, huge chair.

This show is just devastating on every front. I know people hated the ending but it keeps you wrapped up in every character every moment everything from beginning to end. The fact that the show really broke your heart is a testament to that.
