The G18+ Riot Shield is one of my favourite weapons in the game when combined with tactical movement. It's just such a neat concept for the game and really does add some flavour to the class that it so sorely lacks. That said, I agree with your placement -- it *is* awkward and not quite as deadly as it probably should be for the price. Oh well! Still cool. :-D

Oh, ya I love the idea of the g18 and riot shield for Swat, I just wish that it wasn't so strange to use.

they could add an alt fire that swaps the glock with a riot batton. they could even give it to the berserker as well. having a melee alt would make it not only feel more "swatty" but also give a melee since it kinda lacks one.

The Shield is a very useful weapon again Boss, Flespound and Scrake. With a Medic, you can tank all damage and help a lot your team 🦓.

That is true, if the team builds for the shield then it can be pretty good or if they were planning on doing that if you have a Berserker on the team.

MP5 could either get better reload speed, get HIGHEST tier 1 and 2 stumble/knock power or get a "micro grenade" Launcher alt-fire (damage being roughly that of a flashbang) that has better CC output than other SWAT weapons as a frontline trash clearer tank

When I first started playing I thought that the abomination was the hardest boss until I grabbed the hrg nailgun lol melted through it like butter

Ya he can be pretty bad for new players because of the poison damage over time. Once you get used to that he is pretty easy.

@@ReapeeRon when you start playing and especially in solo you also get into a habit of constantly running away instead of holding out (mostly to avoid getting overrun /swarmed /cornered) and the abomination is kind of the only boss that capitalizes in punishing that playstyle since you're only gonna encounter 50 biles that can run faster than you when you turn that next corner

I think The Riot shield should be the Alt toggle and not the Fire select, The G18 is used for its rapid fire. Maybe they can make it to were when you alt toggle you enter cover mode, This would make your reload a little slower but will keep your cover up. My issue with the weapon is when i reload i get folded in 4 diff ways by scrakes, and fleshies

i think the swat needs a shotgun, my vote is a slug shotgun. something with alot of range and power, but without spread. something for big enemies. it could be shared with the support which lacks a slug shotgun for some reason(it could even have a alt to fire traditional buckshot).

Love the Glock as a concept, but it falls apart when actually using it. It can't hit the broad side of a barn with anything from medium to longe range unless you burst fire, the damage doesn't compensate for the lack of accuracy, and ironically the shield that negates 60% of incoming damage will actually make you take more unnecessary damage from how slow it is while ads. If you want to play glock, just play gunslinger, it's a BEAST.

I mean, the game doesn't give you that many long sightlines, there's a reason that sharpshooter is the least played perk, and it comes with a literal riot shield so it's very spelled out for you that it's a short to mid range gun (that said I do agree that a single glock should be available to the swat bc the gunslinger hoarding such good weapons that could be perfectly cross perk is very annoying)

Where would you rank the new HRG Bastion? People say it makes the glock and shield completely obsolete and puts the SWAT into beast mode. Haven't used it yet, but looks to be a superior version of the Commando's Stoner. It's only inferior comparison is a smaller magazine, but damage, cheaper cost, less weight, cheaper ammo and has a freakin shield all blows the stoner out of the water.

I did make another tier list looking at all the new Swat weapons and I put it into the S tier. It combined with the Nailgun and then either a medic pistol or medic SMG is probably Swat's strongest loadout right now.

Mp5 is very solid and lasers stuff down with its accuracy, my 2nd fav swat wep. Mp7 being my fav. I got a very mobile playstyle so crouch zooming around popping heads is a vibe

I will respectfully disagree on your opinion of the glock and shield. Once gotten used to I think it provides solid trash killing power and a near permanent 60% damage reduction. You just have to manage reloads mostly. I think this pairs greatly if you're playing around your big zed killing teammates as you can provide cover for them easily even in the most dire of situations and have them focus on the things you can't handle immediately.

Wait can you please tell me which ones causes scrakes and fleshpounds to stumble. Sometimes when i fire even with the stumble perk it does nothing and other times they do trip and stumble

Every weapon has a chance to stumble, Stumble is just a %chance. Some more then others, for SWAT the TommyGun has the highest chance to stumble per shot. The Glock 18 with the Riot Shield has the highest stumble chance with the shield bash.

2:55 Why's the stock collapsed and why does the mag hold 30 rounds if it's depicted as a 40-rounder? In Half-Life 2, the MP7 is modeled with a 20-round mag, but it holds 45 rounds. It also has its foregrip unfolded but the stock collapsed. The most ideal way to wield it is with the foregrip unfolded and the stock extracted. Even James Bond movies get this wrong (same for most movies). James Bond movies, like most other moviefilms, also tend to depict various AKs with their stocks folded. In most moviefilms, it's the AKMS that gets this treatment most often. Also, the MP5 is almost always depicted with its stock collapsed. In movies, it's often a modified HK94 standing in for an MP5A3 like in Die Hard. *Note:* The only Die Hard game I can think of off the top of my head that authentically portrays John McClane as left-handed is Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza. That's also the only FPS game I can think of off the top of my head that has a left-handed player character. More left-handed and/or ambidextrous characters in video games! 3:55 Why's the stock collapsed? 4:55 In KF1, the military version of the Thompson, the M-1A1, was one of muh fave Commando weps. I'd always favor it over the "not-AK-47" (which was ackchyually a PM Mod.90 which was the basis for the Draco which is basically a range toy but still kinda rad) because the "not-AK-47" had its side-folding tantal stock permanently folded which I find insulting. On the upside, though, the "not-AK-47" in KF1 has a really good reload animation, correctly portraying the rock-in/rock-out motion. 5:06 Realistic considering that its real-world counterpart is a downright hoss. 5:56 So they got the P90's capacity right but not the MP7?! I don't understand that. Someone explain that to me. 6:10 Under no circumstances (including upgrades) should a modern PDW, regardless of make or model, ever weigh more than a chonky Tommy Gun. 7:04 .45 caliber SMGs will almost always have slower cyclic rate than smaller caliber ones. One exception is the Kriss Vector which has a recoil-mitigating mechanism combined with a low-axis barrel, so it's specifically designed to negate muzzle-jump regardless of caliber. Modern iterations are available in multiple calibers. 8:05 So it has a mag with physical dimensions comparable to an MP7's mag, yet it holds 40. Yet another reason why the MP7's mag should hold 40 (like the real one).

It's hard to define SWAT role in a team, apart of being a trash killer. That perk sometimes feel like a survivalist with SMG's. His stun granade can be pretty useful tho. A great buff would be if SWAT's could provide armor for teammates just like support provides ammo and Demolitionists provide grenades :3
