The DLC weapons look fun and interesting, but the price point prevents me from even considering their purchase. For a couple dollars I’d get them, but they’re not even close to their value. The map looks fun at least, so I think I’ll dive back in to check out the update

Wanted to cover the price thing people are not happy about. You see, while this game has the mood of 2010's games "Buy one time and enjoy", Tripwire has confessed in an article a few months ago, that it is impossible to keep up with making content and literally existing as a company (paying salaries, bills and etc). The game is still at 2010's vibes prices, but due to situation and world economy... Honestly bear with these prices. Are 2 weapons for 10 $ really such a big issue to everyone, when they come out literally 1 time in 4 month? Remember how fuckin hard EA and Blizzard rips off people with their prices and then compare it Tripwire. Yes, Tripwire does not makes TONS of content, different level company. But their prices are not the worst, given the time between content events. I play Apex Legends and 1 good skin which is "legendary" costs 20 euro to buy. If I want a "heirloom", which is like the "coolest" thing to get in the game (changes your melee from bare hands to a special weapon), I must pay 160 euro during a 2 week event, which is limited time as well. Now that is bullshit as fuck. Yes I can get heirloom for free, but it is pure luck during entire year of playing and you can also just not get it at all. Got many friends who are maximum level 500 in the game and never got it. In KF2 I can get a weapon with all skins already for 5$. So honestly just be happy we have a choice to pay for AFFORDABLE content to enjoy ourselves. You also support developers with that. Free in 2020 is a dead end, there is no free. Income must come from somewhere. Game developers are not gods who exist in other universe and choose to please us or not, they are people like us.

P.S. New DLC weapons are actually real good and fun. If you were in doubt to buy or not, I can confirm - WORTH!

Agreed, $10 is way too much for me to even consider looking at this weapons. KF2 doesn't really hold me that much anyway. Glad that shared content is a thing though

@@Hizungaya that’s not the issue the issue is $10 to me is too much for so little. These things aren’t game changers and still base weapons perform better if not on the same level. Maybe I’d pay $10 for four guns. Tripwires excuse that they can’t do anything for free anymore is only because they’ve pushed the community into a split and their other games flopped.

The scorcher is so good for firebug. Really gives them a very good weapon to take out Big zeds and the secondary works great with ground fire.

Oh and also the mine reconstructor is a God tier weapon when paired with a berserker. Get them to tank the boss or a fleshpound and just spam mines into the berserker to keep him almost invincible if he is keeping his parry bonus up and you have the damage resistance syringe

You failed to mention how the Mine Reconstruction is a beast at holding doors. It can poison Zeds through doors making it especially useful on maps such as Containment Station.

Weird how the Arc Generator is the only weapon to deal neutral damage to everything (besides the Hemoglobin, however I am not counting that since "bleed" damage is not the main damage type of that weapon).

The Hemogoblin is a pile of junk. Its gimmick sounds cool, but you're better off using anything else; even your knife does more than that thing.

The only noticeable thing for me is not having to switch to my 9mm to get to another weapon. The other balance changes haven’t affected me in any real way. I like the new map, though as Beserker with the Parry skill, the map can be far too red at times, making it hard to see. DLC weapons are overpriced as usual, so I’m skipping those.

What I don't get is why Tripwire won't let us keep the skins that the zeds have. The only map that does this is Santa's Workshop. I wouldn't even mind buying the skins & choosing when I want to use them.

@@CountryKing1017 That would be cool too. Have the option of a mix-match batch of Zeds. Some or 1 in Christmas skin, another 1 or more in Halloween skin, another 1 or more in Summer time skin...I didn't even think of that. Good call.

The one thing I don't like is that they took the 9mm out of the usual weapon rotation. I'm on PS4, and having to hold triangle and then select it while dodging Zeds is annoying. At the very least, they should allow you to toggle it in the menu.

I've tried the paid DLC weapons and they're fun to use but on higher difficulties, somewhat not viable. The Mine Reconstructor explodes immediately explodes on impact whether you hit Zeds or teammates. Potentially, you can use this to keep your teammates alive when they're tanking hits from bosses or you can save a trapped teammate (provided that they don't get trapped for too long) and clear out large hordes of trash Zeds. The Minigun feels a bit... underwhelming in my opinion but nevertheless it can hold its own when hosing down some bosses (Hans and King FP counters this on solo), it's not very flexible (and yes I know, it's a BIG gun) when fighting trash to large zeds because by the time you finish clearing out the trash and medium zeds, you're left with an empty mag and a looming FP or Scrake ready to end your pitiful life.

As a medic Main I do not like to change to zedative. It muddies the water for the medic. Left tree is too buff a team that you're playing with. And right side is when you play by yourself, or if you're playing on lower levels and the team is holding their own pretty well. As a medic you're already poisoning everyone you shoot, and use healing dart to heal. It's a wasted slot and I informed them of that when we did the beta.
