I never played KF2, but i can say from my experience with KF1, if you play without music and paying attention to the sounds ZED makes, you can kinda figure out the position of them, and since it's all muscle memory, you know where the Gorefast's height and where the head is, so i guess that's how (Also sorry for necroing this post)

You can mute the trader by deleting the audio file for her voice. It doesn't affect your character's voice.

Any tips for getting better? I'm a lvl 25 gunslinger ( currently lvling up all other perks) but I'm still having trouble. I can finish suicidal just fine, but when it comes to HoE... Well, um, I can only make it to wave 2. I always end up getting crowded up. Questions: Would practicing offline be best? If so, should HoE be the only one I do? Best set up? I'm decent at headshots but nowhere near as good as you. So I'd like some tips for that too, thank you. Also, I'm on console if that helps.

Practicing solo does help. HoE would be better but you might want to pace yourself until you're familiar with Gunslinger. When you solo learn the attack patterns of the zeds it is crucial for a gunslinger to get these down and obviously always go headshots when doing so. As a Gunslinger your main role is efficiently taking down any large zeds that pose a threat. As for the best set up, I typically run the Duel 500s, Duel Deagles, and the Centerfire for max DPS for large zeds. Alternatively, you can replace the Centerfire for the colts instead to deal with lesser zeds easier but it all comes down to preference. For skill choice you want to always run these skills. Level 5: Quick Draw [Reduces hipfire recoil and increases weapon swap speed great for any situation. Never use Steady you will only handicap yourself] Level 10: Rack em' up [With this skill, with the counter consistently high you'll max out damage everytime making larger zeds easier to takedown. Don't take up Bone Breaker you only waste ammo and can't kill larges fast enough. Level 15: Speedloader [Self-explanatory, faster reloads take this instead. While Line em' up is okay, It's not that practical because zeds are too fast and inconsistent to nail. Your weapons alone have pretty good penetration without it and you need the speed to kill larger zeds] Level 20: Skullcracker [This skill is mandatory for large zeds slowing zeds down makes takedowns easier. Knock em' down is too inconsistent and doesn't work that well on large zeds skip this one entirely] Level 25: Whirlwind of Lead/Fanfire [Either is fine but I use Fanfire for large zed takedowns] Hope this helps and good luck.

Even tho i might get shit talked over by the answers/comments I get the feeling that some playthroughs are toolassisted by a triggerbot. In some cases its looks like if he is holding m1 for to long still tracing heads in such an unnatural linear way like here kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJPKmaOJhbumbtk In cases of head bash melee with Crawlers its noticeable once he shot holding m1 and then decides to bash instead. Its wired but I can't get off that feeling. And scenes like these kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJPKmaOJhbumbtk keep grounding my theory even more. Another scene kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJPKmaOJhbumbtk with the crawler melee that was cancled out. Notice how the last shot was fired after the acid crawler blows up and the left crawler head magnatized still before he bailed out and decided to shoot the gorefast instead. Its there flusha moments that make the video look highly fishy instead of legit

See the thing is if he was tool-assisted he'd be perfect. Tools don't occasionally leave out headshots to look more believable, they turn on and keep on. Psych0 is absurdly fuckin good but he misses and fails to perfect kill fairly often, consistently throughout his videos. He's an incredible KF player, but he sure as fuck isn't perfect. He comes close to death fairly often, plans ahead and does loads of uncool undramati prep work running around stashing weapons, and he does _fucking kill drills_. There's literally an entire video put up of nothing but him practicing and showcasing how to two or three-shot scrakes and fleshpounds with various loadouts. This is some Jerry Miculecky shit right here.

I have no doubt he's good and has put time into being good, but a good player can still use tools to make himself better. Do I think he has an m1hold bind to track? Hell yes, a toggle however no. This is evident with some of his flicks (not all of them but some aren't humanly possible when prior he's had no visual indication of the second target). Tool assist does not in any sense mean perfect, it just means he has some extra tool at his disposal the average player does not... At the end of the day we really can't prove much unless he uploads a mistake but seeing as how most of his videos are segmented anyways I don't think that'll happen so I'll continue to watch for the show, even though I believe its just that.

As a newbie kf 2 player I would like to ask you sir what's the name of the gun skin at 5:16 and has your perks level been resetted by the game updates since you played it because it's in early access. The weapon skin @ 5:16 is the default colts for the base game. And no, my perks were never reset since early access began. Tripwire stated that they will never reset the perks when the game gets fully released so nothing to really worry about. I say Hanz because He still goes after you in his healing phase while crawlers and stalkers are up your ass. With the patriarch, you can place c4 on him and kill him in his first phase as he retreats to heal.
