Well my least played perk and quite frankly the most boring to play, got some love. Guess I'll have to play him more now. It is quite a fun perk now honestly with the stun nades. Combine that with fast speed and it's gg.

Ah yes. Even when it was underpowered, I liked this perk a lot. There’s just something so satisfying about being the flexible and tanky class that can fill missing gaps and/or be a backup Medic/Demo/whatever if there’s one player that has a less-than-perfect survival rate. All with that sweet, sweet 25% bonus damage resistance and heavy body armor.

Frost fang + kaboomstick + centrefire. Scrakes get frozen. Centrefire one shots sirens and rioters and kaboomstick is kaboomstick.

I like the survivalist with Pulvirezer and the melee + aoe explosion damage bonus. You should try it

Best load out for surv is Crossbow 3, Kaboomstick 2 and hemoclobber 2. you can take out literally anything

Commentary: There are a number of good loadouts for survivalist but particularly for endless I like using weapon harness while wielding Frost Fang, Kaboomstick and Hemoclobber. I usually upgrade the frost fang all the way as it makes a noticeable difference on the medium zed heads (particularly bloats) and you can just use the blade for clearing trash. Hemoclobber allows some self-healing and AOE and team healing, while Kaboomstick is fantastic for fleshpounds.

I personally play with the killerwatt and either the kaboomstick or m16 my only issue with my loadout is that survivalist weapons don’t really benefit from the perk

Open with the M79 because bloop tube and then get Arc Generator and Killerwatt to officially become the team's electrician. If I'm actually playing serious though, Frostfang for the insane synergy with Melee Expert (+75% damage bby) and either an RPG or Railgun depending on what the team needs. Throw in a Hemoclobber or whatever suits your fancy for the leftover 4 KG.

I am enjoying playing the support hybrid. Sentinel being your "firepower" and your focus being on the use of healthrowers and hmtech-501 grenade rifle to be the secondary healer

So, I played with a few different loadouts, and I found that I enjoy playing with the HRG Tommy Boom with a double barrel boomstick. You can switch the boomstick with the kaboomstick if you want. Its basically the same. I like the loadout because Ammo Vest isn't really nessasary for it, because you have enough ammo for them without it. So you can upgrade both weapons to max. I chose the boomstick because I wanted something that was a bit better for scrakes. The HRG tommy boom is kinda under rated imo. Like it's a very effective trash killer, and it can really hold its own against fleshpounds when it's fully upgraded. You can use the ammo vest with the loadout if you don't care about upgrading the booomstick, which was i originally doing, because I wanted to use ammo vest. But I really didn't benefit from it, so I switched to weapon harness and upgraded the shotgun. All in all, I'm pretty surprised how effective the loadout is.

Its been so nice getting a pathfinder upload so regularly. I don't really use survivalist, I never really know what I wanna use if I do. That'd why my survivalist is a sad lvl 19 perk that has never been prestiged.

current survivalist loadout im running is the Hz12 or dragonbreath + M99 + sentinel, shotgun is good for killing med size zed, M99 destroys scrakes/fleshpounds and does lots of dmg to boss and the sentinel clears the small zeds/clutter for you and does decent dmg to boss if you position it correctly

Main weapon is always the Frostfang with either the RPG, Blunderbuss, Seeker Six or Kaboomstick, depending on the situation. I tend to get Make Things Go Boom and Lockdown with the Blunderbuss for maximum crowd control and protection from my own shots, otherwise I feel that I get more from Zedsplosion and Madman with the other weapons because I can just kill pretty much everything in front of me with the Frostfang during slow motion, except bosses. I like the Seeker as a long-range weapon for very open maps and I also use the RPG sometimes with C4 to have a few extra shots for the leftover space.

My favorite loadout is HRG Kaboomstick + Hemoclobber, RPG or HRG Incision for bosses. Sometimes I use Frost Fang + Hemoclobber/Kaboomstick or Hemoclobber + Pulverizer (yeah I know, I'm very addicted with those weapons c:)
