So this is the hardest weekly in kf2. Honestly, it encourages people to play their best, and if they don't, they know they need to play longer to get it done. In solo it's rather easy, barely any difference. On multiplayer if you have a pepeg team... then it's kinda hard.
You should still be fine if you pick the perk you play best as.

The only thing I wish, is for berserker to feel even more epic to play as, with harder hitting animations and stuff. Imo the fun factor makes berserker the best perk to play as

About Berserker, I think he's still playable, but you have to be very careful in matches, which doesn't make things as fun. I believe they should increase his resistance a little, but very little, because I feel that today it's not worth tanking enemies, you're taking too much risk, so it's better to get Gunslinger.

Its pretty easy. But if you want it even easier play this on the space station with the demo. The no gravity is automatic easy mode. Lets you jump out of 99% of hits. And jumping gives you space to fire the rpg from the air to clear groups. Big spaces in the map to loop. Its easy….but boring. Kriss skin is nice though.

I did this in a public lobby as firebug on prison. Crazy how last round had 450 zeds. The final boss the patri we couldn't kill him before he ran off so he healed his 3 times and all of us ran out of ammo, but we managed to beat him after he killed 3 of us.

So with A.A.H (haha, it's AAH!) Zeds are faster, they have more health, there are more zeds oer round, zeds spawn Enraged, bosses have 2X health and ammo boxes more frequently. Thats what i found on the kf2 subreddit

I like current zerk, it's more skill based to get the parry timing right. Especially with skirmisher. No perk should be able to go yolo in 6p HoE so, it's somewhat balanced. GS could be yoloing but lack of ammunition. Abandon is fun mode. Unfortunately, open lobbies are ruined by people who can't beat standard HoE. Those poor souls just want to get the weekly thing done (I guess).

Yeah the people who struggle playing with berserker as it is now and want the pre-nerf is usually the casual players. They just go in there and start swinging without any real thought and strategy, which for me gets super old fast when you have to actively play brain dead in order to die. All it takes is spamming parry so you constantly have his buffs and knowing how to go for headhits to 1 hit most enemies and he's still one of the best perks in the game.

I don't play Berserker anymore, I got it to prestige 5 and I stopped there. I will pick it up for weekly/daily requiring the perk but aside from that I don't willingly choose Berserker. It's not a bad perk by any means however, given the fact that the other perks exist, I choose range.

I hope killing for three shows other characters animations correctly. Like, when a berserker does a certain attack, the way it's animated for the berserker player, should match how it looks for all the other players looking at him. I'd like to do a jump heavy attack. slamming my weapon down in a vertical attack, as I descend on my jump. It's an extremely aggressive, looking play style and I love doing it. But it has never looked correct from someone else's perspective if they saw me do it. And I would love it if killing floor 3 resolved this, since they never bothered to do it, and killing floor 2.

Berserker is my 2nd favorite after sharpshooter, it's fun to play and versatile. Unfortunately it's not that great in multiplayer since I can either find hard games which are a waste of time or suicidal/hell on earth which are mostly private or ban berserkers/firebugs (average try hard precision perk lobbies).

I gave this weekly a dry run earlier (I just played like 3 waves and then quit) to see what it was like and I thought I noticed the zeds being a bit faster but also the horde being maybe a bit bigger but I' not sure. I hate that some of the weekly modes don't actually have a proper description. I like being able to know in advance what is supposed to be different, otherwise I just feel like I'm going insane. xD HoE as it is should still stay but Abandon All Hope should be a HoE+ or how Cataclysm is in Vermintide 2. The difference wasn't that noticeable for me so cranking the challenge bit more either with turning up the aggressiveness or just zed damage output AND numbers and having that as a separate difficulty would be pretty neat.

I have about 800 hours in this game after starting in 2018, I've beaten HoE about 5 times. I recently tried it out again and I couldn't believe how I was able to beat (youtube will delete my comment for typing it) difficulty. Nerfed Zerk has been a dead perk for me since. Too often players don't know how to kill large zeds quickly so demo was my go to since then. Every single aspect of what made berserker fun was neutered.

"AAH should be the actual HOE" - With all the due respect, you can't say that playing in a custom map, with different spawn rates. Try AAH in a 6 player official map, it feels very HARD. KF2 has a lot of veteran players with 5-10k hours of gameplay, so it is obvious that HOE would not be hard enough for this kind of players. (To be fair, not even AAH is).I have almost 1.2k hours in KF2, so that is just my opinion. Maybe, KF3 will bring us something almost "impossible" to complete. Much love from Brazil.
