I think we need a Mad scientist perk instead of the survivalist that deals with weird weapons like the super advanced, fire, cryo and laser and plasma weapons plus the Steam punk and Diesel punk varieties. Also the Winterbites are good for a Sharpshooter for setting up headshots. Basically the Winterbites are more of a team support then a fragger weapon.

I think we should just give it to the Sharpshooter to give them a more defined support role and distinguish from the Gunslinger. Either that or start giving the effect weapons to the Survivalist and make it into a class that uses effects to counterbalance its low base stats.

Actually those Winterbites, while I understand it's easier to just *KILL* big zeds with fully upgraded DEagles super quickly, the fact those Winterbites actually have a bit of an AOE when fired could make ad-clearing, especially on higher difficulties with other players could actually be quite useful. I might pair those with DEagles for easier Scrake and Fleshpound clearing.

incision needles doing damage means you effectively have infinite ammo vs. trash, since it 1 hit kills crawlers, and 1 hit decaps clots, gores and stalkers (and the lock on applys to needles to)

Even with hurt pinky you have mad skills. Did you find much different between the new map and the map when it was in the contest? I kind of wish there was a version of the Winterbite for the Sharpshooter. I kind of feel like all the freezing weapons should crossperk with the survivalist (including grenades). Freezing ranged grenades for the demo grenade launcher would be fantastic.

They toned down some effects + the sounds for this map. You can kind of use them on the sharp just without any benefits, but they just freeze so you theoretically can. Try them :D

I know the Zed’s health start to out-scale your damage by a lot with all the flesh pounds that start coming in and all that, so they would become the ultimate team support kite tool? +more damage to frozen enemies (saving ammo)? HRG = Horrible Reskin Guns :) nice one path :) I think fieldmedic weapon tests are better show in MP. Also, does the railgun do DOT damage? -> 14:15 when paddy runs away he ticks down quite a lot. What do you think about this weapon for sharpshooters who prefer the lock-on mode with less damage? Could be a viable option for those who want to have a healing weapon, too.

Poothfoonder, meant to tell you a couple of days ago about something that may make it easier on your sprint pinky. You may or may not know (I tend to assume you know EVERYTHING about this game), that in the settings, you can change the standard "hold to sprint" setting, to a toggled on or off setup. If you change it, the shift key just toggles sprint on or off, negating the need to hold the button down. It's the second to last setting under the GAMEPLAY menu

Most zeds are neutral to freeze and EMP damage, so these new weapons aren't that bad. The fact that the medic darts of the Incision can hurt zeds is also pretty good. Note: Why the hell does the Matriarch have the 2nd highest amount of hp of all bosses AND has high resistances (except to most melee damage)?

At first I wasn't sold that much on the railgun, but the emp really does help keep track of the cloaking creatures like the trearchs. As for the winterbites I might try to casually bring back my Kriss/gunslinger survivalist with them over the .500's. Probably a bad idea, but eh, can't hurt to try them somewere else

I'm a gunslinger "main" and I honestly think the Winterbites will be a go to for me when this update comes out. I usually just have one weapon the I focus on too much and find myself running out of ammo so I think it'll be good to have these and then pair them up with a good damage dealer plus I usually play with friends so being able to freeze Zeds will be a good thing.

Normally I like your videos but I think you've made a mistake here. I think the winterbite needs to be given its due diligence and maxed before being judged to give them the best possible chance. My friend had similar opinions as you until he tried and maxed them and after said that they basically become a solid option. I think its a possibility worth exploring. As for railgun I tried this myself and I gotta say, this is not half bad. Unless nerfed later, its basically a big zed hunter weapon (something medic severely lacked outside of maybe the shotgun) with strong ass main fire, guaranteed headshots when scoped for the most part, and infinite ammo (the healing darts do decent dmg and on suicidal I often one headshot clots and gorfasts. And yes that's not a LOT of dmg but remember, guaranteed headshots and punch through and endlessly recharging darts). Overall this is actually something I think medic needs or at least close to it giving you infinite ammo, good large zed dmg, and just enough room for a base shotgun for crowds and when surrounded.

I mean not really a mistake, they are far better for the survivalist than the gunslinger, gunsliger for me is all about damage to kill big stuff fast, fleshpounds can spawn in raged which you can't freeze anyway... the winterbite is far better IMO on the survivalist, I always just talk in my opinion and my gameplay experience. The medic incision is good but not for everyone, I'd personally pick it for bosses always.

I’ve been playing for a year now and I never crash , I guess it’s based on your rig. I had a mid level rig with a cheap i7 and a 1660 ti, 16gig ram and a 500gig SSD. I think an SSD makes a HUGE difference.

I think you can do more damage with the Incision by changing the shooting mode, kind of like the Railgun Winterbite is going to help less skilled / beginner GS to actually do big zed kills which is good, Incision is gonna be good for people who like SS and are stuck with Medic, but to be fair everyone wants to play Berserer or Medic so it won't happen a lot… I like that HRG weapons still have some purpose, but it's still a lazy concept to re-use existing weapons to make new ones

Maybe the Winterbites do a lot better when upgraded similar to the MP5 or the freezethrower when upgraded. Theyre shit as is though. The Incision is pretty strong with solid damage, poison afterdamage, and EMP effects. A great all-around weapon. Also, I use alt as my sprint key like a madman lol

I can see your point on the freezethrower (+40% damage per upgrade). However, the upgrade on the MP5 doesn't seem nearly as good (+20% damage per upgrade). But maybe one of those upgrades hits an important breakpoint on number of bullets to kill a zed.

@@synchronium24 maybe. Idk the exact math behind it but i just tried a fully upgraded MP5 run one time and it just felt so good to play with in general, not just in terms of damage. I actually prefer it over all other SWAT guns. Prolly the only exception is the nailgun

v1tr1us2 The desert eagle has more magazine ammo, can be shot and reloaded faster, and also able to be upgraded twice, so yes. It's the equivalent of the rpg on demo. I also forget to mention that it costs 200-400 dosh less than the magnums, so it's better in every aspect except for damage, at least until you upgrade them.

I honestly don't care if they are reskins. Quite honestly I think people are whining just a bit too much about reskinned weapons tbh. Most people would only care that a weapon looks unique for the first 3 or 4 times they used it and then wouldn't notice anymore anyway. As long as the weapons perform well (which the incision at least looks like it will) then they can all be cats as guns for all I care.

@@PathfinderBoi When you look at the steam info for it since 2016 it has never really had anything to draw people in.That's not something that has changed recently in fact it's had pretty consistent player numbers since it came out.The only change is that believe it or not it's be going ever so slightly up over the last year so according to the charts whatever they are doing is actually pulling more players in now than ever before with the exception of during spikes.Obviously these weapons don't take much to make but this isn't KF1 where modders were actually making all kinds of new and cool weapons but like I said with most people it's function over looks regardless of how long it takes them to make them.
