Having 100+ hours on Killing floor, and 400+ hours on Killing Floor 2, I highly recommend it. These developers listen to the community, listen to what you want, and they release free updates so expect more weapons, more maps, more bosses, and fun seasonal events (which kept me coming back in KF1)

I will say I don't like the PVP so agree with you there, but while they have been kinda back and forth with KF2, looking at KF, they did an excellent job with it and the seasonal events made it pretty fun. So I feel like they'll do the same. I remember when during KF2 they just made stupid decisions, then listened to the community and pretty much saved it. The reviews were all negative to very postive on steam real quick.

I'm okay with the rating, but he doesn't go into the fact that this game is getting more content for FREE More weapons, bosses and modes Also, playing as a certain class till level five doesn't feel like a waste if you're using your perk's weapons, demolitionist and support are two completely different perks and fun from the get go He also reviewed it on PS4, which is also a concerning factor considering this game is of PC origin, and the gameplay looked clunky on consoles and doesn't look good for a hoard shooter where headshots are very very useful. I personally give this game a 9/10, maybe a 9.5 because it does what it does right Mindless violence and team survival, with little to no flaws.

I think out of any developers this year, nobody dished up as much as Tripwire (besides the Witcher 3), considering their size as a company. They gave us so much polish on so many features in a single game release that would put triple A developers to shame, and expanded it with an extra whole game made entirely for VR. A good review, but this is a company that takes time making releases of bosses and other such expansions because they care enormously about their product - not that they charge extra, take note.

Eh I don't like this score, I think 8.5 or even a 9. It doesn't highlight how great of a friendly co op game this is with friends and even tho it takes a long time to rank up the classes it's at a pace where it's rewarding and keep a nice long progression system into the game to keep playing and try different builds with different guns. Sure it's missing some things like an extra boss but future dlc can easily change that and the opportunity for this is awesome I think it's a must have for zombie lovers, especially for just 40$ great fun

DewTheDrew you absolutely should, all the guns feels amazing, the Gore is fully rendered and you really get to experience it with the random slow motion moments and the music is perfect. this game is still being worked on, though. I've been with the game since day one and they have added a lot of content and they keep adding maps and weapons and bosses so stick with it.

The one thing I really dislike about KF2 is it gets repetitive real fast. It's a lot of fun for the first time, but after awhile it feels like you're doing the same tactics every game when it comes to money saving. With only 3 guns per class and each gun being superior (usually) makes it feel lifeless. I will do the same thing every game where I save up to a certain round, buy the next gun and so on and so forth. Even if you swap it up it still doesn't feel satisfying. Don't get me wrong though, I love this game a lot, but I do think it needs more variety. Also, DLC is free and they did mention a third boss along with a survival mode (endless waves) which could be interesting.

Tripwire has been busy with many other projects, a killing floor VR included in that. On top of that, this game has been in greenlight for quite some time. Classes, another boss, and many features have been added and tweaked. This game is treated like a CS:GO or Dota, changes aren't released until they're perfect. More will come, and it will be free.

They had added a crazy amount of new maps and weapons by the time KF2 was released, and im pretty sure the same thing is going to happen for KF2. As of today they have easily 10+ more varieties of zeds, 8 new maps, every holiday season had more content available. They always take care of their community. Game modes vary based of difficulty (waves will be modded to throw you curveballs for veteran players)

Just a heads up everyone. This game has as much content as this 3.00 review. I don't know if I'am missing something but I've played it for around 20 hours and I've came across 5 different enemy types, 2 bosses, 15-20 guns and a few maps. Also you can choose a zombie vs mode where you control the zombies which is ok but major unbalanced. I'd actually say you'd get more content buying something like black ops 3 with all the zombie modes DLC. 10 waves, kill all the enemies and fight 1 of 2 bosses at end. That's it, change map. You also pick the same guns 99% of the time. Not a 8 out of 10 game and definitely not a full price game. Just give us left for dead 3, proper zombie horde game with a bit of a story and objective.

Finished a 6 hour binge on this. The gameplay is addicting due to the satisfying gun mechanics. Love the feel of the player movement too. Quality game. Minor frame rate issues on smaller maps with more cluster but other than that I see it filling the space of my gaming time if I'm not playing siege or another triple A title.

Currently this game is free on the PS4 if you have ps plus. I saw this under the ps plus section on my PS4, so I decided to try it it out. Personally after playing this game for a total of about 4-5 hours I can't say a lot as I haven't explored the whole game, the maps, guns, bosses, etc. but to narrow it down I can 100% say this game is really fun. However since I believe currently there are either only 2 or 3 bosses I wish there was a bigger range of bosses. Otherwise except for that factor there really isn't another flaw in the game except it can be boring after a while, especially if your not playing with your friends. The teamwork is very important and the perks/classes you chose make a huge difference, the lineup is key. All in all though I would rate this game 8.7/10 meaning there are Defiantly improvements that can be made, but is a solid and fun experience, worth getting as for ps plus owners it's free, and for Xbox users it's only 40$.

well, in the past months the ps plus games were kinda week, i think killing floor 2 and life is strange are two amazing and fun games, killing floor 2 has great potential to become bigger now with this

Had this game for free, I don't usually like multiplayer only games and a repetitive one at that but this game got me hooked and I can't explain it. All my perks are level 25 now. Leveling up is tedious tho.

Just a Random Dude Don't quote me on this bit I vaguely recall hearing that MS wasn't cognizant on TWI's DLC plans (KF1 had a ton of DLC post launch). However, at one point there were rumblings that they were open to discussion. So unless I'm missing something, there might be a shred of hope (especially if KF2 does well on PS4).
