One thing I never mentioned is welding. Rarely do I ever weld, even though support has welding proficiency. Only time I do is for emergency case scenarios and for certain camping spots. I should have noted that Support can not only weld doors faster, but even repair broken ones too. This tied with demolitionists door trap, can be helpful sometimes, especially for quickly blocking off larges for emergencies.

After they buffed High Capacity Magazines Skill, I've mostly used it over Tactical Reload. Weapons like AA12, Blunderbuss, 301 Medic Shotgun and Vlad becomes much better now to my taste. They are more reliable guns now on big zed takedowns, and truly murderous during zed time with Barrage

The ballistic bouncer feels odd to use, but it's op as hell. You spam it without charging the shot and those balls not only deal a lot of damage, but they also stumble and stun the zeds very often. And a single ball can hit multiple times. Especially good paired with the S12 with high capacity magazines. Thank you for making these guides. There's not many content creators of this game and most loadouts and guides are old.

Bouncer is definitely an acquired taste. I used it before. It being able to stumble and knockback enemies is great and has saved me before when teammates got a large zed off of me. It's definitely good if your goal to is keep teammates alive. Downside is that the balls arch too much and it doesn't do much damage unless you use a full charge. Maybe it can be like the corrupter carbine which is almost god tier in multiplayer matches.

Just got the game on pc a day ago after not playing for years on ps4. I was always a surpport main so a quick refresh of whats good and not good is nice. Ty for the guide man!

You're welcome, definitely recommend checking out some of the custom maps/servers if you're new on PC. There's some "Hell On Earth +" servers that are really fun if you find the game too easy.

Yeah the first skill I find higher capacity better on magazine based guns while faster reload on round reload guns

You didnt even mention the Boomstick and Doomstick's recoil pushes your character backwards. So if you jump and altfire you get a boost. This means you can jump to get a slightly better view of say an FP's head as hes running at you and then fire - if you mess up and dont get the stumble you were hopding for then you get the pushback to safety anyways and avoid taking damage. Its also usefull when kiting as you can boost jump over zeds that might be in your way or to get out of a moshpit and on some maps you can jump over railings or other obstacles - especially good on boss fights as it gives you a lot more mobility and in a pinch can save you some HP as you can fire downwards to reduce fall damage. Also the M4 is great its like a 5-6 shot kill vs both scrakes and FP's. If you need more ammo then it can fill the role of the doomstick and that leaves you enough space for 2 other shotty's like a HZ12 and a boomstick (still stumbles raging FP's and 3 shots em) The nailgun is disgusting now can easily decap SC/FP's if you take extended mags its got enough to decap 2 FP's or just body spam a SC to death. So its might be best spam weapon in supports arsenal.

Yeah idk If I'm going do all of them lol. I might redo my gunslinger/commando guide to make them better, and maybe one other. Don't really play the other perks so I won't really have any passion or care to do them.

You should be able to, I think you may have to be max level to do so, I don't remember honestly.

You get +1 capacity every 5 levels to a max of 20 at perk level 25. Just level up your perk

Sleeping on the nail gun imo having the ability to run around with 650 rounds to one shot trash zombies and the ability to turn it into shotgun mode for stronger zombies makes it a pretty good weapon to have on hand.

"Realistically you're team doesn't need that extra 30% ammo and 20% armour" unless they're out of ammo. Because enemies on even a 6 player hard game is going to be harder to kill than those same enemies on solo hell on earth... Personally only noobs take tight choke over armor piercing shot. If you see multiple zeds, angle yourself so you can hit them at once then watch multiple zeds die from one shot. Plus APS does wonders for the Famas (which doesn't need tight choke). Though if you're using APS, then use barrage because Penetrator is just redundant at that point. Also wow, kudos for actually giving the HZ12 the respect it deserves rather than being every mindless fanboy I've encountered and thinking boomstick is god tier. Funny you say the HZ12 is a budget AA-12 when the HZ12 is actually BETTER at killing fleshpounds than the AA-12. HZ12 literally has the highest damage per magazine out of any Support weapon, can shoot twice as fast as a AA-12 and does more damage per shot than the AA-12 (200 dmg per round vs 140 dmg per round). Also the best weapon the Support has is the Blunderbuss. Has incredible knockback and stumble. Main fire does 550 damage, but increases to 675 on fleshpounds while unloading a entire doomstick on them only does 720 in comparison due to their 25% shotgun resistance. Alt fire is good on scrakes and does 500 damage normally. Also it doesn't need tight choke either. Honestly Famas and Blunderbuss are the 2 best weapons you can pair up for Support and make sure it has High Capacity Mags and Armor Piercing Shots.

Use Fortitude. The extra tankiness makes up for lack of speed. Gunslinger is killed too easier.

idk man, i think the M4 is S tier. Its cheap but is strong as hell, nice damage and penetrarion, and good precision for a shotgun. its even good for survivalist.
