I discovered this band through an interview that Al Jourgensen did and he mentioned KilliNG JOKE. But if you study uncle Alś journey, he spent lots of time in England and Europe living the European scene and he brought it back to USA with Ministry. Killing Joke is no fuckking JOKE, they don´t need no awards of shit, they are beautiful through the passage of time.

In some houses in southern england the folk have heating appliances which automatically control their own temperature once they’ve been set by the user. And the times that heat is required. It’s been this way for 40 years. Modern heating in these tiny ‘ efficient’ homes raises the temp in minutes. BUT British Gas convince gadget obsessed imbeciles they now require a “ HIVE “ - . A fucking hi tech box on the wall with a big knob to adjust the temp - and it can be activated “ if you’re on the bus “...And theses things cost hundreds to install or buy . And they are totally Pointless .Like many of the poor souls whom buy them I guess.

It’s Total Dependance on the Tech or Electricity Supplier. If something goes wrong you sit there and freeze until someone looks at it and sells you another. These trendy Log Burners aren’t quite so silly compared to “ Hive “ heating - they just cost Thousands of pounds or dollars to buy and install unless you’ve a chimney or decent Scrappy or Steelworker handy.
