A full band sharing a brain? Makes sense, since the idea of surveillance and authoritarians have been a theme for the last 50 years of rock. Probably many bands share the same brain. At this point any cynical record company manager can write these lyrics for today's adult teenagers.
@Nephilim-81 Жыл бұрын
@@ColtraneTaylor I 100% see your point, but the message put out through music and/or musical lyrics lowers the boom of a band like Killing joke getting into trouble. My real point is you can’t come out publicly like in an interview or press conference and say “ I hate vaccines or the government are a bunch of surveillance controlling fucks who want to enslave you.” No. They would be black listed easily and it would be hard for them to make any kind of a living. Through song and dance? You can definitely sneak your message across easier. Using a form of entertainment to get hard issues across seems to be the safest route to go when being anti establishment.
