Killswitch Engage - Rose of Sharyn (guitar cover)

This song doesn't have a fancy solo in it, but it has some awesome riffs that are extremely fun to play. It suits my down picking style very well, and it's my favorite KSE song, so I thought I'd make a cover. The song is tuned to drop C and I'm recording directly to my computer using my Line6 POD 2.0.

I found you back around the time I joined the Army in 2007. Your music got me through a lot of rough years in hell, and this song plays as the background music to some pretty epic core memories from those years. i too miss this guy.. it is quite upsetting seeing as he hasnt come back but for a good reason i get that. he was the inspiration to me also as many of you, to learning how to play guitar. I even bought when i was 16 and legally of age to work, a KH-602 because my man KillrBuckeye owned one and damn well killed these covers. I watched them from time and time again and still do years later. killswitch uses the same chord patterns for quite a few of their songs such as: Db-Eb-F-Ab or just Db-Eb-F , or on the 6 string in drop C = 1st, 3rd,5th,8th. or 1st, 3rd and 5th frets. Songs such as Arms of Sorrow, Break the Silence and Rose of Sharyn use these same chord patterns in their choruses or bridges.
