I liked the video but the audio in the second mission got off synced a bit by probably about 25-30 seconds

@@bubbl3s466 Not weird, an editing mistake. He's recording his voice separately and putting them together in post. He merely cut 16 seconds more out of his commentary track than from the gameplay video/audio when editing.

Developers have said game will be 20 dollars with no microtransactions or loot boxes. Also many updates that will be completely free. Seem like some great people so far. Definitely keeping an eye out for this.

winns35 yeah it’s a little silly but at least I don’t think free updates has ever been a standard in gaming.

@@DaLEGOmaniac the idea is that the games were finished or at least as close to finished as possible because there wasn't a way to update games before standard internet service. So the fact they know their game will not be finished and are willing to try to finish it with the money they receive without microtransactions or loot boxes and then pushing that content to us is as close as we can get now and days from many developers. Back in the day it was release a game and that's what you get so if you wanted to be successful you made sure your game was as close to finished as it possible could be before you released it. Now they all think they can shovel you a bunch of crud and hope to fix it later after they take your money and implement predatory microtransactions on you in the mean time. So what I was getting at is maybe these developers understand that and will work towards a complete game before putting out paid content. Much like hollow Knight and shovel Knight for example. Great finished games who then put out extra content that people were more than happy to pay for.

This looks really good. I have always wanted a diablo style dungeon crawler with guns or in a futuristic setting so this is perfect. The reviews on Steam are making me a little skeptical but its on holiday sale for $10ish bucks thats pretty cheap

Just so everyone knows, the game developers promised they'd post the price for the game on Steam the 4:th of July but they didn't. It (that and the fact that they aren't very active in giving any info) has caused some toxicity in the community......stick around though and we'll see how it turns out =)

You went the support character both games why? Should've just played all the characters once... way to make the game look dull af, the melee characters are what makes this game so much fun and you didn't show them, you showed the most boring class for 30 minutes.

Looks kinda dull. Helldivers had a charm in that the missions were super fast and the coop allowed you to dick around with mates and kill them "accidentally". The skills were sorta gooft, but fun. Clever use of coop like a rocket launcher that would function better as a team of 2. This looks like it'll get repetitive half an hour in and has a generic artstyle with certain elements being borderline plagerism from things like Destiny. Unless the later missions seriously change the game up, this is gonna be underwhelming. Also, if its priced more than 30-40 quid for a 4-pack, it'll be too much.

Looks like a fun game but I wish they didn't have to go with the cringy "fortnite" aesthetic. Every character looks like the protagonist of a cartoon meant for 13yo's. In this respect at least helldivers really knocked it out of the park.
