Lyrics Numb and broken, here I stand alone Wondering what were The last words I said to you Hoping, praying That I'll find a way to turn back time Can I turn back time? What would I give to behold The smile, the face of love? You've never left me The rising sun will always speak your name Numb and broken, here I stand alone Wondering what were The last words I said to you It won't be long We'll meet again What would I give (what would I give) to behold The smile, the face of love? You've never left me (you've never left me) The rising sun will always speak your name It won't be long, we'll meet again Your memory is never passing It won't be long, we'll meet again My love for you is everlasting I mourn for those who never knew you I mourn (I mourn) for those (for those) Who never knew you (who never knew you) It won't be long, we'll meet again Your memory is never passing It won't be long, we'll meet again My love for you is everlasting It won't be long, we'll meet again It won't be long, we'll meet again It won't be long, we'll meet again It won't be long, we'll meet again Source: Musixmatch

If anyone is reading this, just want to shed some light on subtle meaning with this song. Jesus Christ in Scripture is known as the Rose of Sharon. I believe this song is an allusion to this not only with the title (which also signifies his loved one Sharyn) but the fact blood is shown running down what looks as thorns - obviously depicting the crucifixion. The "I mourn for those who never knew you" is seen in Matthew 7:21 where Jesus spoke these words, "I never knew you" to unbelievers. And they departed eternally from Him. Further, Jesus is also known as the bright rising "Morningstar" in Scripture, an illusion where the lyrics say, "The rising sun Will always speak your name". Also, Jesus said in Scripture (Heb. 13:5): "I'll never leave you nor forsake you", as the lyrics depict. And of course, the Hope of the Christian is being reunited with Christ forever in eternity. This song definitely has deeper meaning than most see!

I disagree, man. I believe for them it works perfectly. Besides the standard drummer and bassist, they need two guitarists considering they have layered guitar parts. And even though I like a lot of bands who's vocalists play guitar, like Trivium and Machine Head, I prefer a frontman that only does vocals. It allows them to move freely about the stage and adds more energy to the live performance rather then them being forced to stand behind a mic stand most of the time. Just my opinion, though.
