kurapika is naturally a conjurer, he only turns specialist when he activates his scarlet eyes. neon the daughter, is a specialist as her nen ability to tell the future does not lie on the other categories. specialits are kinda unique in the way that they suit their nen ability to whatever they choose/deem necessary

There's a lot of restrictions put on the Greed Island spells, which are created by nen, such as when, where, and how they can be used. That amplifies the power of the spells in the game, as well as the power of the GMs that use them. Quite literally, the harder a spell card is to obtain, the more conditions must be met, the stronger the nen of the spell card.

There are 4 conditions must be met before he can successfully steal other people's Nen. 1. He must witness the Nen ability in action with his own eyes. 2. He must ask about the ability and be answered by the victim. 3. His victims palm must touch the handprint on the cover of Bandit's Secret. 4. All of the above must be completed within an hour.

There's a few other rules too when it comes to using the abilities on top of all the conditions to steal it. The original user has to be alive (unless they have post mortem nen,) the book must be open in his right hand on the relevant page (he's got a bookmark to bypass this restriction for one page though,) and if there's a subjective condition to the stolen ability then that condition is defined by the original user. EG if Chrollo stole an ability that can only be used on "evil" people, it would be the original users definition of evil. Super restrictive but still very powerful.

16:04 I love their laugh in this scene because it's one of the funniest scenes for me in the series. Sadly, other reactors didn't catch it. The friendship dynamics with Kurapika, Killua, Gon, and Leorio are really like real friendship. It's the four of them, but Gon & Killua are best friends. Leorio and Kurapika are more comfortable with each other. Killua and Kurapika probably will have a lot of awkward silence and some clashing if they're alone together. Gon is the type that gets along with everyone all too well.

Bomber's Nen, the name "Countdown" is one of the Residual Nen. Think about it, it was placed on other's body just like the way of Kurapika's Nen Blade was. So, to removed it completely, he (Abengane) said that he will need to remove it from his body follow the rules of Countdown, to touch and say "Catch a Bomber" or the Bomber died, unless the conjured Nen Beast won't disappear. So we can assume that removing Residual Nen, all Nen Exorcists will have to bear a burden depends on how powerful other's Nen was, before they can get it out completely.

Shizuku basically decided she would conjure a vacuum cleaner, anthropomorphised it because she can, and gave it conditions that increased its capacity and what it could consume. She's also just really strong, so it makes a great bludgeoning weapon.

23:00 Neon would be either a Conjurer or a Specialist (I think Specialist, since she seems to have been born with the fortune-telling ability, and doesn't otherwise know anything about Nen). Emitters propel raw aura, like Gon was doing in his training, Conjurers create an object out of aura. So far, the two main Conjurers we've met are Kurapika and Shizuku (the girl with the vacuum from the Phantom Troupe). The main people we've seen so far who are confirmed as probably an Emmiter by nature are Silva and Zeno (and probably Razor from these episodes, judging by how he destroys the boat)

I've always doubted this , but there are 2 ways Neon couldn't use her Nen anymore. 1. Chrollo stole it, hence she doesn't have it anymore. or 2, which seems way too much overthinking, but how about; Because Chrollo took Neon's ability, and it's a specialist ability, both contracts to the Nen ability were blocked due to Kurapika's chain? Could be both, ways, I don't think it's ever really explained. Thanks for another awesome reaction though, loving this series!

It's never been showed that an ability Chrollo has stolen remains with the original person so it's most definitely gone from Neon. Also it wouldn't make sense for Chrollo to be required to fulfill all the conditions if he just gets a copy of the ability rather than outright stealing it

cool idea, but chrollo stole it. it's not ambiguous. chrollo can still use his nen, he just dies when he does. He's technically not unable to use it. Just like Pakunoda died when she shot her memories into the other spiders (she was sworn not to give information about kurapika), chrollo will die when he uses his nen. Edit: chrollo could also talk to the spiders, just like pakunoda could. he would also just die if he does. he's forbidden to do both those things, not unable to. chrollo's ability is to steal other people's abilities and seal them in his book. zeno also says this. unless chrollo gives the ability back (i dont know if he even can) or dies (i dont know if that would actually do anything), neon will never be able to use her ability again.
