The Brutality of the British in Ireland was appalling. I live 5 minutes away from Kilmainham Jail museum, and I have been in the cells in the East Wing, reason was that I deliver goods to the Jail and they stored some goods in the cells. The system has since changed and I have no longer been asked to take goods to the East Wing. The cruelty to prisoners by the Brits was disgusting. I had an English friend that visited the Jail and did the tour, and he told me he was ashamed of what his countrymen did in that Prison.
