Archie...we need to see that next video! I've been checking regularly for it! You are the only person I know that has created serious wood kilns from cargo containers at your scale. I recommend you insulate the large "heat pipe" coming from your 20 foot container to your other container(s). You are likely losing precious heat. You've done everything else perfectly.

Thank you for all the great videos, I’ve enjoyed the process from seeing stuff from the old kiln to the new. Have you ever tried drying wood that is stacked all neatly in the IBC totes instead of loosely tossed in? That is how mine is air drying outside and wondering if it would dry ok in a kiln neatly stacked if I build one. I ask because a full tote holds one “face cord” or “Ric” when stacked that way. I’d loose a lot of volume if not stacked proper. Thanks!

No problem at all, I think it would work if the fans are placed in the right place and forcing the air through the wood length ways. It’s all about airflow 👍🏼

Any idea what the price range is for those modular kilns from Kiln Services when you add the biomass boiler etc? Did you look into it?

I know they are £60k plus. I think for a bigger unit 80-90 cube is around 100k
