"Kim Gordon" is the third single taken from my album "not to be scared of weekend", which was released on February 29th.
I wrote this song in Summer 2023 and recorded it in October. I couldn't imagine that my album and Kim Gordon's one would have been released within a week of each other.
Of course, this coincidence makes me smile.
I also have to say this is not a song about her.
This is a song about being responsible human beings in our era, without spending our lives looking for idols or gods.
And she is a splendid human being - as far as I can see.
I do not believe art is entertainment - I never did. I do believe true artists are people who make a serious and important job. That's what songwriting means to me. "Kim Gordon" is what I needed to say to the species I belong to - the species I am often ashamed to belong to.

Lyrics
I think people are more interesting than gods, and I believe we don't need gods or idols or any other superior entities any more.
I don't even like people who believe that we still need gods.
It seems to me they just don't want to feel responsible for what they do, so they always try to be part of a team, and on the top of this team (or church or country or religion or whatever) there's always a god telling them they are the best, the world is a bad place: "People are bad, you had to be bad. Now ask for forgiveness, and go to sleep”.
I don't want this in my life.
What I want is other human beings who inspire me and bring me to a place where I can ask myself what is right and what is wrong, and then I act and I am responsible for what I did.
Do not put anyone in a frame, do not give anyone superpowers.
Why should you need gods when you have John Peel or PJ Harvey or
Meryl Streep and Stanley Kubrick and Kim Gordon?
Fallible fantastic inspiring people - but just people, like you - trying to create and share beauty, not just looking for excuses to absolve themselves from having done bad things to other people because the world is a bad place.
Why should you need gods
when you have Kim Gordon?
