@@papercutsurvivor. u've got the point but for me... i've been on mijeong position (ghosted for approx 3yrs), it felt awful yet beautiful but u know, when u love someone unconditionally, u just glad that he decided to be with u again. If u do something selflessly, and u enjoy it, u don't care if he love u or not bcs the important thing is how u love him. And when the day comes, when u decided to love another man, u can get rid of him easly and worship another man that more deserved. There is "nothing to lose" in worshiping.

It's the excitement and nervousness in their glances at each other. For me, it's more romantic and intense (in a cute way) than kissing scenes in a lot of other dramas - I think it's due to their crazy chemistry and the fact that this interaction seems realistic.

What I love about this reunion: no tears, no hurtful words, no drama. Gu wasted no time in meeting her after he’d make sure she’s single 🤣🥺 And for Mi-jeong, I think, time has helped her to somewhat be liberated from any amount of anger or sadness that she may have had when they parted. Son Suk-ku and Kim Ji-won are simply perfect in their roles. As Mi-Jeong and Mr. Gu (or, Gu Ja-Gyeong, to be precise 😊), they have definitely exemplified the term "chemistry." Since early on, they've had displayed the most amazing interactions (sometimes emotional, sometimes a bit complex) between two characters, and this scene is no exception. From the start of the scene (top of the bridge) to his formal "introduction" to Mi-Jeong, they gave us probably the most swoon-worthy moments. Yes, the kiss scene was unforgettable, but this back-and-forth let's-compliment-each-other scene/interaction was just SPLENDID!. And their "visual" compliments (yep, those glances) . . . Yes, I'm gushing. ☺😍

Without a great cast like this, the drama wouldn't have made any sense. Everything (or almost everything) is based on the facial and mimic interpretation of the actors. Every gesture, word, has been taken care of in every detail. If they don't win the acting award, I don't know who gets it. I would also give them the one for the best couple, demonstrating that physical contact is not needed to convey passion and complicity. Even in this, they were absolutely amazing.

I was quite surprised, there are so many questions about how the ending went. I thought everyone realized the poetic ending. This is how I realized it. Gu Ja Gyong and Yeom Mi Jeong didn't separate. The ending actually connected them. From the beginning, both Mi Jeong and Ja Gyong were broken people. Both of them wanted to break free from those depressed feelings. Ja Gyong first came to the countryside because he needed a break, he was exhausted because of his painful past. Mi Jeong asked Ja Gyong to worship her coz she wanted to become a non-depressed happy person as she wished. Both want the same thing so they got involved. But as thoughts arise Ja Gyong always gets messed up by them. His mind always changes due to his painful experiences so he runs away every time things get complicated but mi Jeong strictly decided to not change like before. (like her past self) Once (Ja Gyong) said, sometimes (rarely) when he's sober nothing came into his mind, and his mind becomes quiet. He's not bothered by his thoughts anymore but still, his addictions lead him to drink more as a habit. As he mentioned before he said sometimes when he realized that he was happy he thinks to himself that I'm not a happy person so he says punish me a Lil bit and starts his negative addictions again. Maybe he thought that way because he thinks he's always been in pain and he thinks of himself as a person who cannot be happy coz even though he gets happy it only lasts for seconds, so he hates to feel it because he knows that it only lasts for a small period and after that, the same old pain is coming to him. Somehow in the end Ja Gyong took the courage to break free from his addictions and took the hard but right path that leads to happiness. The coin and the bottle scene, in the end, symbolize it very well. How so? When he came outside with a bottle in his hand, one of his coins fell. He thought the coin fell to the drain but still he went there to check out if the coin is still there. Unexpectedly the coin was there. The coin is a metaphor that symbolizes him. He had to choose which path he was going to take. He knew that he was going to get doomed if he continues the way he used to (being an alcoholic)but luckily he was still alive and had the chance. (like the coin it didn't fall luckily) He has mi Jeong who is trying to break free from her depressed self (Mi Jeong was already on her way to healing) and trying to take care of his lover. The coin didn't fall and still had the chance to fall or not fall. He saw the coin as himself and decided to take the right way(not fall). He decided to trudge in the right way. (As Mi Jeong said ) When he took the coin to his hand he left his bottle on the street, near a homeless man, and happily started to move forward. Before the coin incident, when he woke up he called the person who took his money and said "Now you are one of the people who come to me in the morning when I'm sober, you are one of the people who make me curse from the moment I wake up.. I'll welcome you back. " "I'll welcome you with arms wide open so I hope to see you again alive ... By saying I'll welcome you back he meant what mi Jeong told him to do. ("When they come to see you in the morning, smile like that! .. welcome them." ) ( Before he took the phone call he was determined to act that way) After saying that, he took his own money to fill the money he lost. He went outside with his own money to fill the loss and give it to the owner. The bottle! He took it from the store but changed his mind with the coin incident and left it on street near a homeless person. (Which means he's going to stop his addiction) In the end, everyone was liberated from their messes. In the last episode scenes we saw that mi Jeong's therapy worked on him 💕. Some things she said to him while the conversations hit him so hard and it made him realize his issues and determined him to act the right way. Like Mi Jeong did when she met him.

Watching this drama, I can’t help but feeling life is a drag! Living is exhausting! No! Please! Do not get me wrong! I love this drama , its deep, meaningful and insightful dialogues and monologues! The parts that moved me most is the son’s touching yet disturbing story of a falsely accused prisoner as well as the one who testified for him and the sudden death of the mother. She must be absolutely exhausted. I sympathise with her completely. I feel quite depressed after watching it but like it very much at the same time. I really appreciate the message the drama gives that is no matter how hard life is, you just have to keep on going and try to find little joy in everything you do, in your daily life! Please remember do not ever give up! ❤️👍
