This scene made me cry sooo badly…It’s bittersweet and heartwarming at the same time.🥹🥹 The way he confessed, conveyed his feelings towards Mijeong is sooo heartfelt, the fear and uncertainty he has towards his life ahead could be felt from the way he muttered those words.😭😭 The director wanted us to focus on his sincere lines than skinship of the couple, that’s why their acting, eye contacts, facial expressions and gestures are all sooo important in these scenes. Baeksang awards to both Sukku and Jiwon please!!! Love our worship couple, MiGu fighting!❤️

Mr. Gu (Son Suk-Ku) seemed uncertain of what "worshipping" meant or entailed. But this exchange with Gu opening up and professing how much he likes Mi-Jeong (Kim Ji-Won) is the perfect example of worshipping. He literally has his heart on his sleeve, telling her he's always liked her. He then says he has no idea what will happen later and repeats unwaveringly just how much he likes her. While saying this, he's been looking at her directly and hasn't turned his sight away from her all this time. That is high reverence. And then Mi-Jeong gives him that "look" and wants to record what he's saying. Who wouldn't want to be worshipped in this manner? This scene is dreamy. Okay, I can die now.

That scene was breath taking and I write stories. It blew me away. I've never seen love so deep, expresses like that . Usually stories with couples this much in love, you have those long drawn out bed scenes. This perfect scene conveys and says ALL the right important things. Love that Mr. Gu!!!

I wish I could delete my memory and watch it all over again. You don't get stories like this much in kdramas. Top tier acting by everyone and especially portrayal of such complex human emotions in a way that actually connects you with all of them, make you part of the story telling. Slice of life it is. I'm in absolute awe of Son Suk ku's portrayal of Mr Gu. I love love love this series. 💖💖💖 10 million hearts for this amazing drama

At first i felt bored watching this drama bcoz the build up is slow but there is this something that pulls you to love all the characters that will make u watch till the end. This drama is so different from other dramas that i've seen. No cliche, no extravagant scene or lines but it really hits the reality of life that will make u relate to the characters.

Keep it coming, addicted to Gumi couple and the whole cast will not get tired watching them. Mi jeong said thank you when Mr Gu said he really liked her, am expecting Saranghae. Would like to see Chang hee scenes and his friends too, am always waiting for their drinking stories but most of all their parents played a great part, Ki Jeong who always get in trouble for her blunt remarks, Tae hoon last scene was funny, there’s no wasted scenes every line and twist from Sanpo to Seoul the phasing is fast, this drama sinked in through my bones literally leveled up my drama palette, thank you for this masterpiece! Oh let’s not forget Kim Woo bin and his different names, he finally smile! I wish Mr Gu and Chang hee met on the last scenes, they missed each other I bet Chang hee will be jumping and hugging Mr Gu again.

i think the reason why this show both feels unfathomable to me and also somehow envelopes me in acceptance is because. Mijeong doesn't pretend to be okay with all this. She's not secretly hoping for something else when she says okay to him here. They're both fully in the present. The part when she says that she won't be embarrassed of him even when he hits rock bottom. That's real acceptance you know. If someone were to say that to me, I think a huge weight would lift off. I wouldn't need to put in the effort to pretend. I wouldn't feel ashamed to be seen. Mijeong, in the process of letting herself be worshipped, and worshipping someone else, I feel like she developed a kind of self assurance that lonely and exhausted people rarely experience. Regardless of where she ends up in life, she will continue carrying that reassurance because it was an experience of a lifetime. She will continue feeling love, she will walk with her head held up high because she has come to see her worth. There's nothing more beautiful than that to me. This is definitely the most meaningful kdrama I've ever seen.

yes I agree! I think that is why he kept telling her that he really liked her as if it is something she should always keep in mind. Instead of saying 'I like you' he says 'Anyway, I really liked you' because he is unsure of their future but he wants her to have the reassurance that he wholeheartedly loved her in that present moment and as you said, she will carry this reassurance for a lifetime. It is noticeable that she comes to see her worth towards the end of the drama as her demeanour remains the same but her attitude and something inside is changing. Loved this drama too!

Idk what I expected when i pressed play but of course i'm falling apart again watching this video. gumi scenes in this drama are all legendary and unforgettable, this one no exception. oh just look at them: their lines, their expressions, their eyes, the mise-en-scène. i'd say give sukku and jiwon all the awards (and this drama, best drama and park hae young, best screenplay; god she packed so many intricacies of human lives and relationships into simple lines HER OVERFLOWING TALENT?!)

I guess I will be stuck with them forever. There are some scenes that you watch again and again. My liberation notes as a whole and the scenes between Gu ssi and his Yeom Mi Jeong specifically can be categorized as a new feeling. The drama shows the daily monotone and the situation of tired, exhausted,desperate people. Iam one and I never got bored while watching it instead I got hope. I now have a hope of liberation. As the famous poem goes "If winter comes can spring be far behind ".

A pure work of art, none vulgarity just a brilliant script and two actors of a high caliber in a scene. This drama is brilliant, made me remember why i start to fall in love for SK dramas. Amazing scripts, intense actors, sensible scenarios, interesting plots, 0 vulgarity appealing (unfortunately lately some dramas are falling for ocidental sexual appealing but i truly hope that SK drama's essence don't die and the productions become useless like the majority of ocidental tv works.
