Kim Jungwoo's Personality Evolution (part 1)

Another video about my ultimate bias, Kim Jungwoo. Are we even surprised at this point czennies? Well this video is pretty self explanatory. In 2018, we get to meet Kim Jungwoo, a new member that joined the subunit NCT U for their new song, Boss. He was nervous, soft spoken and his voice shivers every time he speaks in shows and videos that they release. But now in 2021, I don't think that person exists anymore as we see a new Jungwoo that was so confident, doesn't even need to repeat his words, and often makes the members laugh. What a complete concept change! With a little bit of time and adjustment to the group he's in, he managed to be one of the funniest members of NCT! In this 2 part video, we'll be looking back on the past eras as I show how drastic this change actually is. 💚

I found them way after and it's strange discovering what a bundle of anxiety this boy was, especially with seeing him in favourite choreo as hard as he does. I just hope he's not just getting medicated and that he really had a chance to work through the be perfect ideas. He's great and has a wonderful personality as far as I can tell. He deserves to enjoy his hard work.

I think the biggest turning point for Jungwoo was when he took his hiatus, there was clearly a lot burdening him in his first year, and I'm happy he got a chance to work those things out and come back with more confidence! It just shows how important it is that we allow idols the chance to be human and grow at their own pace!

I'm beyond proud seeing how much he progressed from being the cute shy boy to the confident man he is now. I will never shut up over the fact that his hiatus did him good, let me rephrase that, he became the best version of himself. He is now more confident with his talents, humor, and hopefully he'll not be as insecure as he was when he debuted (AND FUCK ALL THOSE NCTZENS WHO MADE HIM FEEL THAT). He is one of the most popular member now, charting the brand reputation, sold out merchandises, he's trending whenever he breathes, and he DID THAT without any solos, gigs, to promote himself better but he's still out there, climbing the charts with his talent alone. So happy for you Jungwoo, you've come so far. Being an MC will give him so many opportunity as he will be seen weekly by the general public, he will have solo performances that can showcase his outstanding vocals, smooth dancing skills, and his ethereal visual. Hopefully this will pave a way for great opportunities for him, he deserves it so much. Fighting Jungwoo-ah, we'll always support you.🤩

I really appreciate how the members treat him so well. Everyone seems to accept him as a member without any "ill feelings", and Mark, Doyoung, Taeil and Taeyong seem to take care of him especially. I'm a pretty new nctzen, so when I started following them, I already saw this confident Jungwoo, and I really like that side of him, but when I went back to find his old clips when he was super nervous, it made me realize how far he has gone. While we worry and we feel like need to know, the reality is, all we needes to know was, he was on hiatus, and i recovering. Beyond that is additional info we should not be privy too. Jungwoo is really my comfort idol in many ways..I honestly relate to him so much,as someone who have dealt with social anxiety, it takes me some time to blend in a group of people and can't talk much and can't really be myself but when I do get comfortable and starts to be my cheeryself again and become the most fun person to be around, Some people may think you've changed but it's not about that , it's about being able to express yourself completely, I've seen this in Jungwoo..Thanks KIM JUNGWOO for being the person you are today and inspiring many out there❤️

Same, I relate a lot with the anxiety too. It's so bad that when I get named to stand up and answer in class, with everyone looking at me, I can't think clearly, my heart starts to pound fast, face starts to get flushed, I can't even speak clearly, and if I raise my voice to be louder for the teacher to hear, my voice will tremble so bad, my hands start to shake. Half of my mind is trying to answer the teacher's question, the other half is trying to stop me from crying. I used to be the confident kid that answers every question from the teacher and even participate in public speaking competitions. But I don't know what has happened that caused me to be who I am now... Tbh, I admire the younger version of myself... I can still be the leader for group discussions (if paired with friends or acquaintances). I just won't be the leader that is going to present in front of the class anymore :(

this video just explains why i have this soft spot for jungwoo. i have seen him since debut and seeing him now as a confident and well-spoken member makes me feel proud and emotional. back then, he's the one who's being guided by the hyungs and now he's the one who's helping sungchan adjust to the group. i love him so much :(( and the hate he received is truly undeserved. we all know how talented he is and i'm looking forward to what more jungwoo can show to the fans as he take a new career of being an MC. jungwoo, hwaiting! 💚
