Kim Kardashian’s former assistant just threw some serious shade and there’s so much drama it could be its own Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode.
It looks like the Kardashian clan isn’t as close as they used to be.
Even if you’re NOT a fan of the Kardashian’s, you know who Stephanie Shep is. She rose through the ranks of Kris Jenner’s company and became Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant. From booking flights to pushing away creepy paparazzi, Stephanie has been an integral part of the Kardashian Empire.
Stephanie was not only an assistant, but she was actually best friends with the KarJenners. She was out at a club with Kourtney Kardashian when Kim’s Paris robbery happened and she often posted pics with the whole fam proving that her job was more than just a job.
During this season of Keeping Up, we’ve seen Steph take more charge and ask Kim for more responsibility. When Kourtney brought up the fact that Steph didn’t feel fulfilled, Kim got mad that Stephanie wasn’t coming to her with these concerns.
This kind of confrontation was unusual between the pair and we were shocked when we found out that Kim fired Steph as her assistant. An insider source told PEOPLE QUOTE “She was a good assistant but when Stephanie wanted to transition into a larger role with Kim’s brand and businesses, it just didn’t work. Kim gave her the chance but after a short period of time it became clear that Stephanie just didn’t have the knowledge to take on a role like that. Kim made an executive decision to part ways.”
It’s been rumored that the two are still friends, but after Steph’s recent Instagram story fans aren’t so sure. In her story, Stephanie wrote about how self care isn’t always about expensive face masks and bath bombs, but sometimes it means QUOTE “letting go of a bad friend” or QUOTE “forgiving yourself for not meeting your impossible standards.”
Fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities between her recent firing and post, especially when it comes to friendship and standards.

I think this is bullshit and I doubt that was actually the case. This girl has put up with all of their madness for 6 years and she allegedely didnt have the "knowledge" to take on a larger role in a short period of time??? Even if this was the case, wouldnt they have given her more time to get acquainted with that larger role, especially since she isnt a stranger that they just hired. I think it had to do with disaggreements on what Stephanie wanted to do in the future in her own life, and Kim's selfishness of wanting to keep her as a stagnant assistant. This isnt fair to Stephanie, you have to allow people to grow and not hold them back for your own selfish reasons. NOBODY wants to be a back breaking assistant for the rest of their lives to a celebrity, have Zero set days off, working practically 24 hours, being constantly called to do things at all hours of the day/night, constantly moving from place to place at the drop of a hat and no personal life, because your life is 100 percent revolved around theirs. It may be thrilling at first but not something a person would be genuinely happy doing for the rest of their lives. You lose your self identity with a job like this. This was a blessing in disguise. She has greater potential than just being Kim Kardashian's assistant.

Her assistant did absolutely nothing wrong talking to a Kardashian sister about her thoughts for the future of her own life, especially when they were all such "good friends" for so many years. I can't believe that Kim was upset about her assistant talking about LIFE and HER LIFE with another Kardashian sister, since they were all close and friends. What in the heck is wrong with Kim? And then saying she fired her assistant since she "wasn't up to the task at hand?" What a way to put someone down and try to make sure they never got another job as an assistant. Wow.
