This is just confirming my personal belief that you should never mess with your face when it comes to plastic surgery. I've seen some people who are exceptions with life changing nose jobs or jaw surgery but otherwise aging and weight loss undos any gains.

Yes the people who look good with plastic surgery usually didn’t do much to themselves. Example to my mind is Tyra banks, just the nose job and left the rest alone. Kim was stunning, she didn’t really need to do all that. Same with Megan Fox.

My mom also had a lift after having kids and I didn’t realize it until she told me. So I really thought this woman who had been pregnant and breastfed just had like really good genetics to still have higher placement, but nope it was surgery. I will also say that my aunt had her implants removed a few years back due to encapsulation and that made me firm in my desire to never get implants.

I'd argue that, whether body dysmorphia is present or not, there is some vanity within all of us who engage in cosmetic procedures and surgeries. I think in Kim's case she is dysmorphic, but is also using surgery to heal after being in a controlling relationship that extended into controlling everything about her look. This is her way of taking back ownership over herself, imo. Whether she knows it or not.

I think in 2007 she already had work done - butt, lips and possibly something else on her face. I’ve been compared to this woman for so long and it made me insecure because I feel like the Walmart version of her. I have pictures of Kim from earlier that have since been deleted from the internet because I was researching her like crazy back them because people wouldn’t stop comparing me to her. Im genuinly confused as how she can handle so much surgeries. I have around 8 myself - for medical reasons - and every time i have the next onr, it gets harder and harder to recover. Not only is it age, but also my body struggles more and more from the dammage and medication etc. So im not sure how the kardashians do this as if its going to the hairdresser, like something very minor..

Ditto! I just had two surgeries last year for endometriosis and adenomyosis, with egg freezing in between, and it wrecked me. I’m still recovering and will need the rest of 2024 to recover from 2023! I’ve talked to my GYN surgeon and she said it’s because of the inflammation surgery creates and all the work your immune system has to do to repair and heal afterwards.

You're right, most plastic surgeons say the fillers migrate in a short period of time. Even the actual face lifts often need to be redone after 10 years or less based on weight gain or loss & gravity.

Especially Kim for having so much done, you never see scars and her skin always looks tight but I can imagine even in the face with the implant and filler removal, it must sag the skin? I had my nose done about 20 years ago by Dr Fischer. Kim’s plastic surgeon. Sadly, it looks close to what it did before I had it done. The nose keeps growing as we age. How my slight bump came back I have no idea but this could be a natural age progression for Kim. I can’t imagine doing this on purpose.

I can’t imagine what it’s like to be constantly undergoing surgery like this. Where do these people find the time? How do they recover? They never really seem to be out of the public eye. I just don’t understand. Is going under anesthesia this often even healthy? Do they all have painkiller addictions? How does this work? Excellent take, Lorry! I have seen others with extensive work done, say they wish they never did anything. You also see women as they age, talking about how beautiful they in fact were, yet they never realized it at the time. It's incredibly sad! It's heartbreaking. Kim always wanted to stand out? She launched the "curvy/slim thick" BBL look into fame when super skinny was the beauty standard. When everyone got a BBL Kim lost weight to stand out again. Now that everyone got the same face with the nosejob and filler and botox and brow lift, she comes back to her face from before all that. It’s good she finally realized how GORGEOUS and STUNNING she was naturally. Now I hope she doesn’t use this reversal to try and gaslight us that she didn’t have a bunch of surgery and procedures

Hi Lorry 💐 I cannot stand that family, But Kim was so stunning originally. Breathtakingly beautiful. Her beautiful Armenian features, especially her eyes. I saw some recent photos of her at the beach and her rear is still enormous. I will never understand why anyone would do that. Her original nose was perfect. Exotic looking. I think her lips are still huge. Not sure I agree with you on this one Lorry except maybe she switched cheek implants to smaller ones. And she's reducing the botox. That's a good thing 🤗

I recently saw an interview Lady Gaga did where she said the thing she missed the most was normal human interactions just as a regular person and not a Lady Gaga, the ultra famous musician. And she seemed genuinely heartbroken as she was saying it, it was really sad. I know people are fond of saying ‘wELL tHeSe CeLebRitiEs aSkEd fOr iT’ which sure, to an extent they did. But I don’t think anyone could have predicted the level of fame she was going to attain at the outset. I don’t think a lot of these celebrities can truly grasp what it’s like until it happens to them or unless they grew up in Hollywood already. I don’t think it’s possible for this kind of thing not to mess with a person psychologically. I think Kim absolutely does have moments where the scrutiny and inability to live life as a private, non famous citizen gets to her. I don’t see how it couldn’t. Pretty much no human appreciates constant scrutiny and surveillance, it has to be utterly exhausting no matter how privileged you are.
