I love how they support her during her math contests even though they were a bit cold and usually Kim, Daniel ... couldn't care less about math. I like how their friendships evolve especially the one between Kim and Lindsay

I like to think that Lindsey and Kim became lifetime best friends, and with Lindsey’s help Kim got it together, went to Community College after McKinley and then went on to Wayne State in Detroit, graduated and became a social worker as Lindsey went on to U of M and became a high powered attorney...

I love how the pilot introduced Kim as the "mean girl", but as you got to know her in each episode, she was humanized and showed her fragile, vulnerable side and heart. Kim and Lindsey's friendship was an unexpected and great story arc on this incredible show. The writing was so good, the storylines and situation so realistic, the dialogue hysterical and heartbreaking, the awesomely talented young actors, the amazing rock/new wave soundtrack. And the topics they covered were so freakin' deep! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZWto2SfbbGkjq8 I wish they would have included Busy Phillips in the show intro, she belonged there as one of the main characters. But hey....I'm not complaining. Freaks and Geeks was perfection. The best TV series EVER about high school and coming of age. Love it so much!

I think they said Kim wasn't supposed to be a main character, but her performance made them use her a lot more. That's why she wasn't in the intro

They should reboot Freaks and Geeks with a new cast set in 1984 ( after the original cast has already graduated). It could be a series like American Horror Story where each season is a new cast/ story line. Of coarse it would have to be done by the original behind the scenes people that created the original. That is the only way you could reboot this show. Or even remake it set later and some of the original cast could be in it as older characters; imagine Neal or Bill as a teacher
