Can I just say that I really love Cecily Strong. Easily one of the strongest cast members of SNL. You're the best, Cecily. Love seein' you on Weekend Update.

Hilarious. A former bully's worst nightmare. That kid's in serious trouble!
@FishoD8 жыл бұрын
Except that she could get fired for this, because being a bully as a teenager is bad, but what the teacher did is illegal and biased and personal. Not to mention can actually hurt the childs education and future lif. Actually hurt. If someone calls you fat it's not nearly as damaging as a teacher who actively wants you to fail school. She is a grown up, by the time she is a cheater she should have gotten over being called names, and not be a bitter, weak, pile of horseshit. I was bullied, not just names, but also physical abuse, it's not that big of a deal as people make it, it's wrong, sure, but nothing to scar you for life, people are weak.
@sentralorigin7 жыл бұрын
There are plenty of academic research and studies that show bullying have permanent effects on children. If a group of bullies actively want you to fail school, it's pretty much the same as a teacher wanting the same thing. When bullies threaten your life and point a gun in your face telling you not to come to school again, and teachers/parents just tell you to man up, there's not much you can do except take a limited course of action in your life. Maybe she never succeeded in her education and future because of this? So because her future was ruined, she is taking revenge by ruining the future of her enemy, which isn't a nice thing to do, but seems fair
@DrNo0076 жыл бұрын
Nothing about this is fair. The kid didn't do shit, but it's mother. One has to be pretty fucked in the head to think that this kind of misguided revenge is in any means justifiable.

Its so symbolic I had to replay it.. The teacher symbolises the youth and the parent symbolises the schoolsystem. Can we hurry up and forget that we force children to go to school to learn how to be greatfull slaves dependent on jobs and products for survival while ignoring the state of the envoriment, when nature and sunshine provides all the food and life.

@FishoD8 жыл бұрын
What stops me from laughing at this is that there are people like this in the world. I'm not talking about the bully, but the victim. So another teenager called you names while you where at school? Booo hooo better not get over it and be bitter and try to have a revenge 15 years later on their kid. Pathetic, people are weak.
@kentjg328 жыл бұрын
If you treat people poorly, don't expect them to be good to you later on. And if they are shitty to you later on, don't cry about it, just accept it and move on. There are consequences, good and bad, to all over our actions.
@FishoD8 жыл бұрын
Kent Galloway Oh I get that, that's why I always try to be good to people and help out. However that said saying some mean stuff as kids, then the victim deliberately trying to exact revenge on bullys kid as an adult is borderline psychotic material. If I steal from you as an 11 year old it's not ok your you to kidnap my child 15 years later for a month. And that's what the teacher is doing here.
@kentjg328 жыл бұрын
I agree with you Fisho D, however I do think you're taking this comedy video too seriously, which is fine. For me, and I'm guessing other people, it's nice to see jerks from the past get karma. Just youtube search "instant karma" and look how popular those videos are. I don't want revenge on people who have been mean to me, but it would be nice to see in a comedy video.
@sentralorigin7 жыл бұрын
Karma is fun to think about, but usually only if you're aware that it's taken its course. For example, there was a bully in high school who beat me up all the time, took my lunch money, even came to my home and trashed it. But now, he is a successful surgeon and as far as I can tell, he appears to be enjoying a happy life. Maybe some karma got to him, maybe it didn't, maybe it will in the future, maybe it won't. But karma is not important to me because he was never punished for his actions to my knowledge. Obviously I can't take revenge on him because that's illegal and I am a middle-aged man working for minimum wage at McDonald's, but there's nothing much I can do about past crimes against me that have been exacted over 2 decades ago. Sometimes karma doesn't work, but you just have to accept it

Kent Galloway I saw no comedy here, really it wasn't in any way funny.
