Clark kick everyone on the LSU's ass including Angel Reese who often didnt even really try. At least van lith put the total effort out even with her knowing who she was guard & the fact that Clark has whe 5+ inches of height over Van Lith while Reese is around 5'11 to 6'1 so has more level playing field against clark. It was the coaches fault & it wasn't Van Lith's it wasn't Reese's fault it's a game last year they won I personally think they got lucky but not this year & it sucks for LSU & it's fans but it wasn't their year. Again Reese couldnt stop Clark anymore then Van Lith....or Morrow or anyone else on the LSU team. Clark scored 41 points & like 9 3 pointers out of 15 she shot I think & no one stopped her. At least Van Lith put everything she had into trying which is more then others on the team.

It's a free country & while I dont agree with sports putting politics into the game especially as a league like the nba & wnba players have their rights. Our brave soldiers, air force, marines, navy, coastees, & first responders work hard & put in alot so we all can be free to say what we want & think even if at times other disagree or even are offended by it. Things like this though as you mentioned are why LSU have been trashed especially since last years flook win in the finals. I also have to point out to the LSU team & fans that while they have the right to not show or stand for the anthem they couldn't be doing this or playing in the wnba next year in any other country in the world let alone getting paid to do so. They make far more money playing in the wnba or even college with NIL nonsense then anywhere else in the world & wonder why no one watches women's college or wnba until the arrival of Clark & Iowa womens. The best part is Iowa is still pretty well positioned for next season even with losing Clark to the wnba & other seniors to graduate school & ineligibility after senior years. Iowa has a few great incoming first college year along with a lot of the current roster returning like Stuelke.

@craighanson-rc1md9 ай бұрын
Reese didn't play her best even if you want to blame her foot. Reese clearly through out the game couldnt contain Clark or anyone else on Iowa any better then Van Lith who btw was like 5 or 6 inches shorter then Clark. At least Van Lith put the effort in more then Reese or Morrow seemed to do. Reese literally at times just throw a hand up as if that's enough to stop clark or block Clark from adjusting to see around it. Reese more then a few times threw her hand up but clearly after the shot was already at the basket & rarely jumped to really try & put forth effort. Van Lith did though. Make your excuse for Morrow or Reese but I don't think either of them put much effort into the game from the start. Reese averaged like 18 points a game & 10 rebounds which is about what she got last night nothing special with that. Someone on LSU had to have a special game but no one including trash talker Reese didn't & couldn't come up with the stops or the above average points. Iowa had multiple players who had double doubles even with caitlin having a 41 point game.
