I’d love to hear from an Iowa opponent about just how demoralizing those 50-foot passes Caitlin launches are. You score, and then, just as you’re about to celebrate, Caitlin throws a transition pass down the entire court to a ridiculously open teammate and your basket is nullified. I think that’s what won the game against South Carolina last year and what must be the worst thing about facing Clark.

Generally dropping your shoulder and pushing your way through is an offensive foul because the defender must have beat you to the spot if you needed to push through her. I think this was correctly an offensive foul. The defender clearly beat her to the spot and angel initiates the contact.

It's hilarious that under a minute even if Reeve were still in the game that lsu could come back from down 12 points in 60 seconds is ridiculous. And lets be honest that whole game Reeve nor HVL played tournament level basketball that night. Aneesah Morrow played well but still couldn't stop Clark completely & when Morrow was on clark that left someone else either Martin Marshall or Stuelke open.

LSU was actually down 14 points with a little under a minute left. LSU kept fouling and stopping the clock. That's how they closed the gap as far as they did at the end.

Dude LSU is the least woke team dumb dumb. They have a routine which include the players coming off the court 12 minutes before the start. They do their routine and in a regular season when they come back out at the end of their routine, they make it back out for the anthem. They were unaware that the timing is different in the playoffs and they didn’t even know the anthem was playing. Stop complaining about woke no one even know what that means.

I am an Iowa fan but I know I would have been called for a block in my day. I was really good at drawing a charge and in the game I would have believed that I drew that charge but that was absolutely a block. Do I think it would have changed the outcome of the game, no. That call leaves room for doubt though and as a player that would haunt me regardless of which team I was on.

well you could say they got back with the lame charge draw on Hannah afterwards. Im from iowa. I was never good at calling block/charge. I know refs aren't always right or miss stuff. I think LSU got a lot of calls in their favor last year. it seemed like the refs were more lenient last night and let them play. I dont think that call determined the outcome of the game. Without that call they probably wouldnt have pulled that on hannah and fouled her out and got ball back then. I think it was a good game and hope the lsu team cheers on iowa rest tournament now.
